Kind of funny. There was an older fan on BCB who basically never posts but he said earlier this week that he hasn't seen wrists as good as Chourio's since watching Aaron when he was a kid.
  2. wiguy94
Probably helps that he has the fastest hands/wrists on the team at least by my eyes. Just ridiculous natural talent.
  3. wiguy94
Braunie was also 23 as a rookie
  4. wiguy94
67mph bat speed so the numbers back the eye test.
  5. wiguy94
    1000%.
  6. wiguy94
Turang could have done that and we wouldn't have lost Turang's 2B defense
  7. wiguy94
Sorry to the oldheads, but Chourio is going to be the best Brewers of all time.
  8. wiguy94
No chance Murphy pinch hit Monasterio and told him to bunt. That's on Monasterio. Just dumb baseball.
  9. wiguy94
Wilson gets the rest of the game for me. I don't want anyone that pitched yesterday to throw tonight, especially Devin.
  10. wiguy94
Right? The announcer thought that was heading to the second deck though.
  11. wiguy94
That announcer just pimped a routine flyout to Chourio in LF. Off Espinal's bat you'd have thought he hit that 400
  12. wiguy94
Cruz, Santillan, and Farmer have combined for 14 outs with 13 of them via the strikeout. That's some bad hitting.
  13. wiguy94
Mitchell got plenty of hittable pitches there. That cement mixer high slider that he was way late on was particularly bad.
  14. wiguy94
Anyone else think Perkins is on 3rd base there if he was sprinting to 2B instead of jogging?
  15. wiguy94
Rest of inning gameplan. Contreras BB/single, Bauers K for the golden sombrero. Adames with another 3-run HR
  16. wiguy94
    BLAKE PERKINS OH MY GOD
  17. wiguy94
You just need to stop saying nice things about Montas lol. 2 times you've done this and his start has immediately gone to ****
  18. wiguy94
Really need Ortiz to remember how to hit. He's been so bad since he came off the IL with some extremely ugly AB.
  19. wiguy94
If they do it's because yesterday was a double header and they want him to eat more innings. He's lost the strike zone and is giving up some loud contact these last 2 innings.
  20. wiguy94
The Brewers don't need the Cubs and Cardinals to win to want to keep winning when they are tied for the 2nd seed and bye in the NL.
  21. wiguy94
Pretty sure they need to call him up tomorrow to save his last option year.
  22. wiguy94
To be fair I very much agree that the trade was weird at the time. Maybe they found out that Shook was leaning towards leaving in minor league FA (think he was a minor league FA) so wanted to just get something in return for him. I really have no idea why they needed another LHRP on the 40-man. Not that this is related, but I wonder if Arnold knew that Hall and Ashby were going to find their stuff so soon after the trade deadline if he would have made the Mears trade. I'm a believer in Mears stuff especially after an offseason in our org but he has no options so I don't love the long term roster fit.

I do think I'd be most inclined to want to get some of the catchers back. Get Garcia, Rodriguez, and Navarreto back. Always nice to have veteran catcher depth in the minors and I think continuity is probably more important for catchers than other positions.

Conversely look no further than Blake Holub to see how big of a jump it is from AA to AAA from a pitching perspective. Holub has been absolutely dominant in AA but has been bad in 2 different AAA stints this season.
  25. wiguy94
Carlos Rodriguez, Ernesto Martinez Jr, Mitch White, and Lamar Sparks are the 4 I would like back for sure with Connor Scott as a 0.5 because it's still too small of a sample for me to really have a good feel about him. I think everyone else on that list is minor league depth/org filler so I think they are easily replaceable if they chose to leave.
