  1. Rhyming falter with Falter...come on treego you're better than this!
  2. Really lame stuff. By Murphy’s logic he should have never let Ross back out for the 6th inning then. Instead he lets him face Reynolds and Hayes but Rowdy Tellez who has been terrible for almost a calendar year is where the line is drawn? It’s really going to suck when Murphy’s short hook comes back to bite these next two days when we have an MLB debut and a not stretched Bryse Wilson making starts for us.
  3. I didn't have an issue with Turang swinging 3-1. He had a good pitch to hit. I had a bigger issue with how he swung. He swung to hit for power and not get on base. Turang should pretty much never be swinging for power.
  4. Megill wasn't used. He was only going to be used if we tied the game up.
  5. Yes there is. It's 10 day for position players and 15 for pitchers.
  6. Ross was at 79 pitches and just gave up a weak infield single. He had looked good all game. There was no need to pull him.
  7. Pat Murphy with more terrible in game decisions. He's clueless.
  8. Yuck. Wilson being a SP when he's not done 4 up downs and has maxed out at 62 pitches this year is not great.
  9. Cards had 6 AB with RISP on Friday compared to 11 for the Brewers...so if the Cards were threatening what were the Brewers? Also 3 of those 6 AB with RISP for the Cards on Friday were in the 10th inning where the RISP was a Manfred runner. Today first 2 innings - 5 baserunners, 0-6 RISP Today final 7 innings - 4 baserunners, 0-3 RISP Outside of the first 2 innings the Cards did not really threaten to score. In the 1-0 win over the Padres they had 6 AB with RISP and 3 of them were in Uribe's inning. The other 8 innings they only had 3 AB with RISP. Like I said outside of an inning here or there those teams were not major threats to score.
  10. Offense has struggled for a few games missing Christian Yelich who was looking like MVP Yelich before getting injured? Shocking stuff. Also outside of first 2 innings today and Abner's inning in the 1-0 against SD, I would hardly say the opposing teams were putting up lots of chances to score.
  11. Brewers are 5th in the MLB in run differential
  12. I for one consider this Sunday a fun day because Carolina will leave Augusta and their horrible camera work at the end of the day!
  13. He's been so good so far this year. Would be cool if he managed to turn himself into a long reliever and get to the MLB after many including myself wrote him off.
  14. I can't imagine they want to be giving Blalock MLB starts just yet. He's on the 40-man because they felt they needed to protect him in the Rule 5 draft
  15. He probably has until Junis and Gasser get healthy to figure things out. Maybe 1-2 more starts?
  16. Biloxi's offense has arrived. Nice to see them scoring some runs.
  17. Wilken played 34 at A+ before getting promoted to AA. Quero played 20. Misiorowski started 6 games at A+. Brewers have been moving guys through the system pretty quickly lately.
  18. Anyone else think they should have gone to Vieira to try and get 8 outs here?
  19. Frankly I was pretty flabbergasted to see Wilson at all. Throwing in a live game 3 days after throwing 57 pitches is pretty shocking. I had him mentally penciled in as unavailable today.
  20. I believe Gasser has thrown 2 and 3 inning stints at extended ST, so he should be heading back to Nashville in the next week or so.
  21. Hopefully we see Tayden Hall promoted to Wisconsin is the near future
  22. Officially on Ryan Birchard watch. He wasn't put on the IL from what I can see and he hasn't pitched since the 6th.
  23. I saw someone on Twitter say it’s a mix of Suter and Hader and that’s even better. Manfredi definitely has that extra little twist of the hips like Hader.
  24. Also Mark Manfredi might be a Brent Suter disciple. His delivery is so similar to Suter's. Here is Manfredi's leg kick: Here is Suter's leg kick:
