  1. And Yoho and Misiorowski potentially up come September as well
  2. Yeah that 3-0 swing was horrible from Adames. Just so out of control. When you're that out of control it's basically just blind luck if you hit the ball.
  3. Yeah it's just incredibly bizarre managing from Murphy. Pull the kid after 5 innings and a low pitch count in his last start because you don't want him seeing an order a 3rd time then tonight you bring him back out for the 8th with a pretty elevated pitch count after he had been giving up hard contact for 3 straight innings? Just don't know how you can manage things dramatically different from start to start.
  4. There have been some real offensive duds in the farm system this week. Bitonti and the Mudcats used up all the system's offense with those 24 runs combined on Tuesday and Wednesday
  5. Cornielle was having such a good season and 3 terrible starts in a row and now his ERA is 4.7
  6. Martinez hasn't thrown more than 70 pitches since April, so hopefully he's not going to go 100 pitches tonight. If he is then he might go 8 scoreless against us because we look clueless against him.
  7. You don't need to come set if nobody is on base I guess or at least that's what I've been told tonight.
  8. 8 innings without a hit for the Brewers offense now.
  9. Start of July. Hopefully he snaps out of it soon
  10. Devastating 0-2 day for DSL Brewers 1. Could have ended the day with 0.5 game lead. Instead end the day 3.5 games back which might be a dagger in the race for the division.
  11. 6 BB and 4 HBP from the Brewers pitching staff in the first 5 innings...just can't have that.
  12. DSL Brewers 2 transfer Johan Zapata with an extremely rough outing in the middle innings of this 7 inning game. 2.1 IP, 3 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 2 SO, 2 HBP...DSL Brewers 1 are imploding here in the bottom of the 5th. Entered the half inning up 5-3 and it's now 5-9 with 0 outs.
  13. Oh wow I just noticed DSL Brewers 1 have a double header today against the pesky division leading DSL Orioles Orange. Getting a sweep here would be massive.
  14. Blake Burke assigned to A+ Wisconsin.
  15. I agree. I've suspected the same for a while.
  16. I just don’t know if the elite pitching development is a thing anymore. I look at our farm system and I feel like the hitting development is what stands out lately.
  17. It’s honestly pretty funny seeing Yoho getting a bunch of publicity on Twitter today when we here on the minor league forum have known for months how disgusting he is. I mean we have all been saying since basically his first few innings that this dude had no business being in high A. It’s like the world has been let in on our little secret.
  18. Yeah I’m just talking about the swinging strike rate not anything else. According to Fangraphs he has a 12.6% swinging strike rate in A ball this year and had a 29.7% swinging strike rate in the ACL last year. If that’s where @sveumrules is drawing the data from then those ACL innings are definitely doing a heavy share of the lifting to that 3rd overall 15.6% swinging strike rate.
  19. How many other pitchers who threw a solid chunk of innings in the ACL are qualified for that list? Feel like swinging strike rates are absurd in the ACL so that’s probably doing some heavy lifting for Rodriguez and I feel like most other guys who spent time in the ACL might not have hit that 100 IP mark.
  20. I think the announcers are getting the pitch types from trackman/statcast so not surprising Hem got it mixed up.
  21. I don't just scout the statline either. I'd venture outside of Joseph there are very few people that watch more Brewers minor league baseball than me. I think Yophery is limited in the tools department relative to other Top 100 guys. Seems like a guy with a bunch of 50 grade tools with defense probably being the one that is a 55-60 grade tool. I just don't think jack of all trades guys in the low minors are Top 100 candidates. If Gasser stayed healthy he wouldn't be prospect eligible anymore, so I don't think he deserves to be a Top 100 prospect because he had TJ.
  22. I mean I definitely did not know what you meant. I thought you were saying he was released or traded.
  23. 4 bottom half Top 100 prospects isn't much in terms of farm system rankings. Top 25 prospects is where you start seeing movement in farm system rankings, so yeah I stand by saying in terms of Top 100 our system is pretty thin. I also disagree that Yophery and Gasser are fringe Top 100 prospects.
