  1. I don't know if that means weird coincidence or not. They would still be with the team in a hypothetical trade situation. In that scenario the FO would have asked for them to be pulled to avoid any last second injuries or something along those lines. Who knows maybe they got dinner last night at the same place and got food poisoning
  2. Yophery and Walling just collided in right center field. Walling held onto the ball. Thankfully they both look okay. Will have to monitor the rest of the way.
  3. It might have been more groin than leg but we never got a good view. The pitcher left the game.
  4. Wes Clarke just hit a 110 EV comebacker right at the pitcher and it looks like the pitcher caught it right in the leg. Pitcher is down and in a ton of pain.
  5. For Quero to be put on the 60-day IL he would needed to be added to the MLB then placed on the 60-day IL which would have him start accumulating service time. Gasser can go to the 60-day. Ross can be moved to the 60-day. Then you also have guys like Roller, Capra, Junk who could be DFA'd relatively easily. They could recall Uribe and throw him on the 60-day IL with him having meniscus surgery as well but same story as Quero that he would be accumulating service time in that scenario.
  6. Boeve and EBJ were late scratched out of the lineup. Here's the updated lineup:
  7. I coming bearing bad news BC. I agree with you though. Frelick hitting 5th because of the batters box he stands in is stupid.
  8. Both EBJ and Boeve were late scratched from the Biloxi lineup today. EBJ has had his fair share of injury issues, but Boeve has played 51 straight games since his promotion to Biloxi. Are we on trade watch or just a coincidence?
  9. Yeah I missed this one. Pratt to A+ and Yoho to AAA are probably the two promotions I most want to see.
  10. Feel like the Brewers were so aggressive with preseason/early season promotions that there might not be many midseason promotion opportunities. I was pretty shocked by the O-Rae promotion, so maybe they will get aggressive with midseason promotions as well. The only guy I really feel passionately about deserving a promotion right now is Yoho
  11. Velo was down about 2 mph and the command was lousy. Potential injury watch?
  12. I bring some terrible news on this Friday afternoon. Luis Pena was caught stealing today. The perfect season is no more.
  13. Honestly as much of a bummer as this is, I am relieved he opted for the surgery. If he's having the surgery on 6/24 then there's a chance he can help the MLB team come next September. I feel like rehab would have just delayed the inevitable and I think timing wise it's better for the surgery to be in June then say September/October.
  14. Russell Smith reinstated from the 7-day IL by Biloxi.
  15. Reached up to 97 doesn't mean he throws 97. Wichrowski touched 99/100 in the spring. That doesn't mean he throws 99/100.
  16. I mean obviously they would accept Chourio for Scott, but I figured people would use common sense and understand my comment as nothing the Brewers would realistically offer. I'll make sure to simplify my comments so all people can understand because it was clearly too complex for some. Scott is a fringe Top 50 SP prospect in baseball who has had good success in his brief MLB stint. The Mets aren't going to trade him unless they are getting a controllable MLB proven talent in return and even then they might not consider it. Cost controlled starting pitching is what everyone in the league craves. Yes the Mets rotation is pretty full this year but Severino and Quintana are both FA after the season and Manaea could potentially opt out of his player option depending on how he finishes the season meaning the rotation clears up for next season.
  17. Now I’m really convinced you have zero clue who Herrera is saying he throws 97 lmaooooooooooooo
  18. Literally zero chance the Mets are trading him like not a single chance.
  19. In what world is giving up Sal/Mitchell, Wichrowski, and Shane Smith giving up less than Herrera, Hunt, and Boeve. Saying Herrera has electric stuff makes me think you don’t know who he is. KC Hunt is at best comparable to a guy like Shane Smith so if you think KC Hunt is pretty damn interesting I don’t know how you wouldn’t think the same of Smith who is 3 months older and pitching extremely well in AA. Anderson’s track record isn’t good. He’s had two good seasons in his career and one was in 2016. He's the biggest FIP overperformer among qualified pitchers, his xFIP and SIERA are both over 5, he’s making 2 times as much money as Fedde. Giving up a haul for him just for him to regress in Milwaukee while being our third most expensive player on the roster would be such a bad move.
  20. Wichrowski also really struggling today. His AA ERA is sitting north of 6.
  21. KC Hunt is not sharp today. Leaving the breaking balls up and they are getting hit hard. This will be a short outing for him.
  22. His peripherals are horrible. Hard pass. He looked good last night against a Brewers offense that has been stinking it up for over a month now. I don't understand your apprehension towards Fedde but then willing to give up Sal/Mitchell, Wichrowski, and Shane Smith for a 34 year old Tyler Anderson.
  23. I can't help but wonder if he rushed back from the hamstring injury because he wanted to play in Philly. He's genuinely been terrible since coming off the IL and is in the midst of by far his worst calendar month of baseball in his career. He has a .222 xwOBA in June and the next lowest monthly xwOBA in his career is .282. Those are the only 2 months of his career he's had an xwOBA under .300. Considering how good his peripherals were before he went on the IL to how bad they are now; one has to wonder if he's totally healthy. Then again basically the entire Brewers offense has sucked in June. Only Adames and Ortiz have an xwOBA above the league average .317 in June.
  24. 2 weeks in a row he broke trackman by hitting the ball too hard/far.
  25. Darvish got up 0-2 on 2 sliders against Chirinos and for whatever reason they tried to throw a FB instead of a slider that Chirinos showed no confidence in touching. Chirinos took the FB at the top of the zone and crushed it to CF. 109 EV.
