    We drafted Riggio out of HS in 2021 and he was just drafted out of college this year

    Watts is committed to Auburn and he's only 1 year removed from HS so I think he needs to play there for 2 years before entering the draft again? Maybe not. Don't understand how that works.

    I don't know what Tyrone is still doing on the active roster if he's not going to play against a LHP. They must be trying like hell to trade him for even a lottery ticket because he's basically a waste of a roster space right now.

    Big sigh of relief. Makes sense to IL him so they can get Lopez back on the active roster. Hopefully he only misses a week and is firing on all cylinders once he returns.

    Yes 18 of 21. Gholston (HS), Watts (JUCO), and Morton (HS) were the only 3 not to sign.

    Not much info on him. LHP recovering from TJ. Threw around 93 with his FB before surgery. 6'3 190lbs so very ideal SP build. I'm also surprised he went for as much as he did. Brewers must really like his arm.

    3 multi-inning guys is total overkill. We are fine with Bryse Wilson and Rea/Houser once Miley/Woodruff are back in the rotation.

    122 wRC+ is certainly nice but Jimenez can’t play in the field without getting hurt and he’s terrible when he’s out there. So he’s pretty exclusively a DH and 2 players you’re comparing him to are elite defensive players at SS and 3B . The contract is fair but it’s not some bargain that gives him a bunch of trade value and putting Jimenez in vicinity of a guy like Robert is super disingenuous.

    So Yophery Rodriguez is definitely the next Brewers international prospect that is going to get a lot of prospect helium, right? After today's game he is slashing .280/.436/.492 with a 21.2% BB-rate and a 15.4% K-rate with like 145-150 wRC+ and his swing is just buttery smooth.

    I think it's less slow bat speed and more super long swing.

    I wouldn't be surprised if he bulks up this offseason and makes the opening day roster. Chourio is about the best chance we have of getting the 1st round pick for having the ROTY

    That's exciting. He has a beautiful swing and the Midwest HS guys a lot of the time seem to be undervalued/late bloomers.

    Yeah Chourio kind of is giving off Ryan Braun vibes right now. If he could even remotely come close to Braun's bat with his CF defense, you are talking a superstar.

    What you’re ignoring about Gasser’s FB is that despite the average-ish IVB, it has an elite VAA at -4.1 degrees. Also his slider/cutter/curveball statcast info is a mess because they are constantly messing up the pitch classifications with him.

    Plenty of potential scenarios. Justin Wilson coming off 60-day IL, Hiura, Black, trade acquisition are all potential options. I would guess Wilson is most likely scenario

    Really depends on what they do with Wilken. Wherever Wilken goes, Adams will likely be at the other A-ball level. Boeve is someone they said might play some 2B. Bitonti is super young so he’s going to only be in the ACL this year.
