  1. Jadher Areinamo just hit a HR. Mudcats up 6-1 in the 1st inning.
  2. Wiemer was called after Urias got hurt in game 1 not when Mitchell got hurt. Wiemer was called up to play RF with Anderson shifting back to 3B where Urias played in game 1. Frelick got hurt the same night Mitchell did so was not able to be called up then.
  3. I’ve talked myself into trying to get Ryan McMahon. Probably have to platoon him but he hits RHP really well and plays GG level defense at 3B with 4 more years of control on a fair contract. He fits the run prevention model while also being a 110 wRC+ type bat vs RHP.

  5. Suter has been on the IL for a month and just went out on a rehab assignment. Absolutely zero need to trade for him with Justin Wilson set to return soon and Ashby going out on a rehab assignment in the near future.
  6. Jake Cousins velo is down a ton...wow. His FB is sitting 92.4 today which is so far below his average last year and the year before. He really hasn't been the same since that elbow injury last season.
  7. I didn't even realize we are only 2.5 games back of the 2nd seed and bye. Would be absolutely huge if we could end up with the 2nd best record in the NL this year.
  8. Woodruff starting his rehab assignment on Saturday.
  9. If he's available absolutely, but I am guessing the Cardinals are far more likely to move TON than Carlson. Edit: Also I am generally just opposed to the idea of trading with the Cardinals. They are on the record to want pitching and we really don't have a super deep prospect pool of pitching to trade from. We are definitely deeper on the position player side.
  10. Yeah I think Boeve, Woodward, and 7-10 (sorry for not listing names) will sign for between $1.15M and $1.5M which with the 5% overage would leave us with $4.875M to $4.525M to work with for Pratt, Bitonti, and 11-20. Hopefully we get Boeve, Woodward and 7-10 towards that lower end and can get Pratt and Bitonti for around $2M each. That would leave us $875K to play with for rounds 11-20.
  11. Is he actually 5'8 like it says on Fangraphs? Maybe a move to the OF? He seems to be pretty athletic judging by his decent SB numbers.
  12. Luke Adams to A+ at 3B. Shift Metzinger to 1B at A+. Ernesto Martinez to AA at 1B. Shift Warren to 3B. Black to AAA at 3B. Shift Dorrian/Toro to 1B.
  13. I've wanted the Brewers to do this for a while, but I just don't see it. Have Brewers ever promoted a position player straight from AA to the MLB midseason? Some teams have been doing it (Braves as an example) but it really doesn't seem like our MO.
  14. @TURBOlooks like your friend of a friend may have been correct
  15. I’m thankful you’re not the GM. You do know Ohtani is a FA in 3 months…right?
  16. Rooker has a 90 wRC+ and 35% K-rate since May 1st. He had an insane April and has not been good since. I'd be all for Noda though. He's likely incredibly expensive though considering he is 27 and isn't arb eligible until 2026
  17. Louisville has an ungodly amount of bloops and seeing eye singles today. They have 10 hits with EV under 90 mph.
  18. Though as I just posted Bellinger is WAY overperforming his peripherals. Yelich peripheral numbers look incredible. Bellinger's peripherals are below league average.
  19. I'd probably avoid Bellinger because his peripherals are just screaming regression. Coming into today he had a .376 wOBA compared to a .312 xwOBA.
  20. It was a play that should be an error, but not with the MLB's standard for OFer getting errors. Not at all surprised it was changed that quickly. Especially embarrassing after that Steer play was ruled a "single" by the Reds scorekeeper.
  21. I didn't respond anything so don't know why you are telling me this but Brewers888 could also stop posting their insane Stearns/Arnold/Mets conspiracy theory if they don't want negative comments in return.
  22. Seems like some draft picks will be signed very soon hence the transfers to 60 day IL to open up stateside minor league slots.
  23. The snarky replies are entirely because of the stupid second paragraph where Brewers888 once again brought up his insane Stearns/Arnold/Mets conspiracy theory baloney. "The longer this goes without an extension the more likely that he could leave and even follow his former boss next offseason to New York. We obviously can't compete financially with the big spenders so our only chance of maintaining success is with a front office that is at the top of the league and Arnold after cleaning up the Stearns mess of a Hader deal appears to be that guy so lock Matt Arnold up with a long term contract."
