Number 1 offseason priority should be to add power to the lineup. Trade Burnes and use the $16M saved to add a Rhys Hoskins.
Then trade for a 3B. They have a strong enough farm now, bolstered with additions from a Burnes trade, to package an OF+ for a veteran, controlled 3B. If they can’t get that trade or sign a power DH bat
Those 2 moves with improvement from the rookies along with more high-end talent coming from the farm should get the offense inside the top 15 offenses in baseball.
Pitching-wise, Burnes spot replaced by Gasser, who is ready to face big-league hitters, to go with Woody-Peralta-Houser and a hopefully strong Ashby. They can bring back Miley or sign a FA starter.
Bullpen with Williams-Payamps-Uribe-Milner-Megill-Peguero should be strong yet again.
Adding 2 power bats to improving young positional talent makes this a more well-rounded team overall and the loss of Burnes can be overcome by that balance.
