  1. WOW!!! That'll make up for those missed spots!!!!
  2. Time for one of those back foot shots to Wicks*or Reed on a crosser...
  3. I'd be stunned if this one isn't overturned.
  4. That's ANOTHER bad spot! Challenge that. JC...
  5. Tom may be the 2nd/3rd best player on offense. That is not good.
  6. Ok...I missed that then. Terrible stop on that Reed reverse.
  7. I was hoping that'd lead to a 1st down...but I guess back to Jones? Or PA to Kraft in the flat?
  8. Hopefully, we look back at that being the turning point(not the FGs or 4th and 1 stop). Could have easily been 21-6 with those two possessions. Would have been in the past.
  9. That looked like just straight-man coverage(which...Savage got beat, so maybe that's what you mean by blown coverage). I like the play-call, but I'd rather you blitz into Purdy's face. Put someone on Trent(Smith or LVN) and then overload the other side. But pressure that doesn't get home and man coverage vs this team is not a good mix. HUUUGE stop there. Gary applying some pressure off the edge, DL up the middle! Massive-massive drive now for the Packers. 1st down-PA pass Come back to Jones.
  10. Watson or line up Musgrave outside and throw it up to him. Ward is tough, so I don't know about testing him, but you've got 3 guys who are 6'4-6'5. But I trust Love to make plays down there. If we can get a stop here, the momentum swings back to the Packers. That's a BIIIG if.
  11. It's just gutless. They don't trust their OL in pass pro though. Hopefully Shanahan's past repeats itself in tight games.
  12. It really is. SF is not playing aggressively...which is more than alright with me. As good as Shanahan is, he plays tight in close games. It's easy to open it up when you're running as they have in the past, but in close games he's ultra conservative. AND THE ROOKIE WOODEN WITH A TIP!!!!
  13. Hard for me to envision Barry coming with anything aggressive here. I could see a screen to McCaffery here if they bring 5. So...just don't let someone behind them(obviously).
  14. Definitely miss Kevin Greene. All-Time great sequence. "It. Is. Time." And then Clay slices inside and comes up with a game-saving forced fumble.
  15. Gary has been a "non-factor" for months? LOL...who are you watching?
  16. They're getting it out too quickly, but he'll make a couple plays...
  17. It's definitely going to dictate the rest of the game. SF scores a TD on one of the two drives or a TD and a FG, now the Packers are forced to throw it a bit more. Hargroves is a pass rusher more than a run stuffer... And there's no margin for error. If you can get a stop before half...I'll feel pretty good about their chances. Really just one big play for SF thus far. And it's been Barry bringing pressure and playing aggressively in the secondary...which is what most of us want.
  18. Yup. Just...discussing the Packers needs on Twitter. This game is going to be thee barometer of what area's the Packers need. Walker has been playing well, but I'm not sold on him as our future LT just yet. It's also a little weird to see so much Sean Ryan all a sudden. He's too flat-footed in pass pro(though I don't even know if he was in there on those last two plays). Same here. I'll take 1st and 10 on the 12 anyday of the week. Everything just gets compressed down there.
  19. 49ers front is really getting after Love. HUGE sequence coming up here. SF has 4 minutes and they get the ball on the other side of the half. Defense has to come up with some plays here...keep getting in Purdy's face.
  20. HUUUGE!!! The way he extended that play and then put it right on Doubs? Man...he just keeps impressing!
  21. Totally legal play. I didn't see Myers doing anything that should have been 15(though I'm *NOW seeing Myers putting his helmet in the face of SF...which is fairly mild, but off-setting is fine).
  22. Yes. Just say with the game plan. Don't start forcing things. That 15 should be on SF. That was SF pushing Myers in the face!
  23. It is...but Love is still standing in there and Jones is playing well. I think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves with the defeatism. This team is resilient.
  24. Yup. 2 times inside the 15 and 3 points. Can't beat SF doing that. Also a dropped pick that probably goes for 6. But they're standing in there...and Kittle scores a TD.
