    That is correct. I noticed at the game Saturday that the top video board was flickering quite a bit, for whatever reason. I hope we don't have to go through a whole season of that before the board is replaced.

    I am not sure how this is calculated into the numbers, but more people had access to the Packers game than the Brewers. Brewers were on cable/satellite only where as the Packers were on broadcast.

    I agree. Frankly, I think coming out after getting beat and people were already starting to file out of the stadium would have been pretty awkward. A lot of the guys were probably bummed about losing. If they didn't feel like coming out for some basically empty gesture while the Phillies were celebrating, I don't blame them.

    I get the feeling Mark Attanasio really likes Sabathia...I also think he'll want to do a big signing as a show of "good faith" to the fans after this year. I'm sure he enjoyed his first taste of the post season and doesn't want to wait another four or five years to go back. What better way to sell a ton of new season ticket packages than being able to announce the re-signing of Sabathia? I could see Attanasio really making a strong push to re-sign him. Just kind of a personal hunch.

    Hey folks...the wife and I have our five year anniversary coming up towards the end of this month (yeah, I know, I need to get more on the ball with this stuff...already have a nice gift for her though!). I would like to take her somewhere for a two night weekend getaway...was thinking of Lake Geneva, since it's relatively close by and seems to have enough stuff to do around the area. Anyone have any suggestions on where to stay? Pretty much just want to take her someplace nice, preferably stay in a nice suite, and somewhere the maybe has an indoor pool, etc. Don't want to spend a fortune, but am flexible on budget. I was looking at the Cove, but read some mixed reviews, so I'm not sure about that one. Open to any ideas, really. Thanks!

    Valentine was recently quoted as saying he would be interested in coming back to manage the Mets. That won't be happening now, but maybe he'd have interest in at least interviewing with a team like the Brewers.

    I assume CC was used simply because it was so early in the game, and the Brewers had a very limited bench. Maybe not the best reasoning, but I think it made sense in the situation.

    I have a good feeling about Suppan today. I just feel in my gut he will step up and pitch some solid innings.

    I really hope they don't go that route. Hall screams "I need a change of scene", and Branyan shouldn't be more than a bench player/fill in guy at this point.

    It would be nice if our offense gets some hits before the sixth inning. Seems like our offense likes to tease no hitters from the opposing pitcher lately.

    I say the Brewers should retaliate by shoving the "Phanatic" off of Bernie's terrace, and then the racing sausages stomp on him a bit before he gets carted off the field.

    I think Yount could be back. I think the only reason he left the first time was because he and Yost didn't see eye to eye on some things. If not him, I think Cirillo could be a good possibility.

    Oh, I am completely glad the Yankees will be watching from their homes this October. Honestly, other than Jeter and A-Rod (the overpaid pretty boys), what was so appealing about that team this year? They have some aging veterans, a broken pitching staff, and some over-hyped youngsters. Plus if the Yankees didn't make it to the World Series, I'm sure Hank would have found something to run his mouth about. They deserve to be out of it this year. Having the Rays in the playoffs puts some fresh blood in, and that's a good thing. The most hilarious thing is that Joe Torre is again in the playoffs, while his former team isn't.

    My feeling is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." The nice thing about MLB is that you don't have teams skirting in that really don't deserve to be there (though that is an arguable point we could re-hash all day), like in the NBA. Some day they will add two more teams and things will even out, but until then, I hope they stick with the current system.

    Really??? My sister called earlier this morning, and the rep told her that if we didn't buy a parking pass today, there was probably no chance of getting one. This was for a general parking pass (made it sound like preferred was gone already). Weird.

    In the last game I was at, they played Ice Ice Baby each time Braun went down 0-2 in the count. It was weird. Maybe because he's a good 0-2 hitter? Or it's supposed to calm him down or something? I need to figure out the name of an instrumental organ piece they play sometimes when there is a conference on the mound. It sounds like something that would have come from the 1920s or 1930s.

    I have heard that all jersey sales are divided among all 30 teams. Not sure if that is totally accurate, though. Not sure about other merchandise either.
