If a pitcher didn't want to pitch any more, all they had to do was groove a pitch or two. I'm sure one of the All-Stars would have ended the game and made it one of the best ever. -
I remember when there were rumors we had traded for Adam Dunn. My friends argued against it, saying TGJ was obviously the better player and he should just be handed CF for the next 10 years. They also argued that I shouldn't use "convoluted" stats like OBP when all they cared about was how well TGJ was at getting on base.

I had the opposite reaction. I looked at a boxscore during the bottom of the 1st and saw that Livan was in. I thought Greinke got pulled because he was traded. I rushed to a computer to check BF.net to see who we got back. Oh, just an ejection.

I think the lack of inductees recently is in counter to the rash of people that were inducted in the first 5 yeas.

I sit in the right field bleachers and see way more info about how a player is doing than what is shown on TV. There are little things like the reaction off the bat, how they round bases, and other things they do when the camera is worried about what the kid in the 4th deck is eating. -
I was going to leave in the 7th, but I wanted to see the double cycle. Then that idiot in LF interfered with Goldscmidt's ball down the line.

I got a relief appearance on the mound in softball last night. One guy took me deep for a 3 run home run. The next time up, he hit it harder but on a line right at me. I had just enough time to turn my leg, otherwise I would have taken it on the kneecap. As it is, I have giant welt on the side of the leg and a small limp. The joke was on him. I had deflected right at my SS for a force out at second.

There are plenty of weekend games at Miller Park like that. It is one of the few things I liked about the Triple H Dome, you could only go back to your seat between innings.

I just got Dish in April of last year. It only went out twice, both in huge storms. Is DirectTV that much better, or has Dish just upgraded since people had it last?

The biggest draw back is you don't get the replays. I haven't been able to watch a Squeeze Play or a Classic since switching. I have seen all of the live games in HD (except those horrible WMLW games)

I know, right? If there's one thing I can't stand, it's an attractive woman who's not afraid to show some cleavage. And on my television set! The nerve of that woman. Agreed and she knows a ton about baseball. Such nerve. WE should have some 200 pound overweight women sitting in the front row. Just because she's less than 200 lbs she's good looking?

Non-political political post: JaDerHeyski both received mail yesterday. It was a voter registration document. It's a national group, but it just seems odd to get it now and not several weeks ago. Especially weird since I just registered at my new address on June 1st.

Then the Yankees would have offered more. Whatever the Brewers offered, the Yankees would have also countered. We are bemoaning Weeks having a bad year. What would have happened if CC at $35M was having a bad year or got injured?
