  1. The most amazing, imho, thing about the Balk-Off was that Stanton had yet to throw a pitch for his new team (Nats) when he balked home the winning run. I can't believe that a pitcher has ever allowed a walk off run without ever pitching for the team before. I was at the game and knew at the time it was the first time the Nats would see him pitch. I was so upset when I saw Rickie get picked off. My sadness swelled to utter joy while watching Rickie start clapping my hands, as I figured out what was going on.
  2. Maybe this makes Lincecum available? I'm willing to give up Wolf if the Giants eat some salary.

  4. The NFL Playoffs. Only 4 teams are left, and they are 1, 5, 6, and 7 on my list of teams I hate.
  5. Here is my work speed.http://www.speedtest.net/result/1111826333.png
  6. They are TBD because national (and probably YES) TV stations haven't finalized what games they want to broadcast.
  7. I like the -154 RA. I don't see how they think we'll score -52 less runs in 2011.
  8. Neither Neifi nor Pierre were starting for a Brewers team expected to contend for the postseason. Betancourt reminds me of Estrada when we traded for him. Some good seemed to be overwhelmed by a lot of bad. Some people had faith in Estrada, some wanted him gone before he played. He made me look like an idiot (I was bemoaning him on opening day for his lack of taking a walk, and his first plate appearance at home was a walk). By the end of the year everyone had agreed that he was terrible and was happy to trade him for a bag of balls. I fear the same will happen with Betancourt.
  9. They should have a 3-4 day notice if someone isn't going to make his start. There is no way they let Rogers (or whomever is planned for emergency) pitch if there is a question about the next day's MLB staff.
  10. I pop in to BF.net every day in case a major piece of news happens. This was as big of a shock as the day I found out we got CC. I am so pumped to start the season now.
  11. Maybe Mike Maddux will convince the Rangers to keep him. Good for Seth, it's hard not to root for him.
  12. It looks like PayPal, but the cost for the receiver is a set 25 cents instead of a percentage.
  13. I always disliked him because of the team he pitches for, but I have much respect for him because of this.
  14. Sheldon Cooper on Big Bang Theory:I'm sorry, but I'm not going to watch the Clone Wars TV series until I've seen the Clone Wars movie. I prefer to let George Lucas disappoint me in the order he intended.

If someone like Bush and Sheets was up, then you need to bunt. Our current crop of pitchers should be allowed to swing away a majority of the time. Unfortunately, I see Roenicke using the sac bunt even more.
  16. Successfully stealing 2nd in the 13th, and it get's a .01? It sounds like the batters behind him failed. Either that, or a lot of runs were scored in the top of the 13th before the steal.
  17. Link was a lefty. They flipped the image on the screen to not confuse the majority of the players. You can compare Twilight Princess to the GameCube version and see that they flipped the images.
  18. I'm not against Roenicke (although he's got a harder name to spell than the last several managers). I just realize managers are hired to be fired. I thought I'd jump on the band wagon first, then jump off before it gets too crowded.
  19. That's not true. Just look at the bump in attendance Macha gave us. It was clear the fans loved the guy.

  21. FAIL! Link was a lefty :p
  22. I suggest looking at DealNews.com, TigerDirect.com, and NewEgg.com for a docking station or external hard drive. I was able to buy a TB external drive for $79 using DealNews.
  23. I'm cheering for the Giants, as much as I hate that franchise for supporting Bonds. The Rangers is one of the franchises the Brewers are better than (in terms of penants, WS appearances, and WS wins). Now we are tied. I don't want another team passing us.
  24. I think it's in The Book to not announce anything between the LCS and the end of the WS. For all we know they have already come to an agreement but need to wait to publicize it. That makes Roenicke's non-discussion all the more interesting.
  25. I'm just happy to get the batting practice again. I just hope we're allowed in the field to shag balls. That's my favorite part.
