  1. Trouble is that this year free agency moved a lot quicker than previous years and there is little to nothing left, outside of some bullpen arms as you noted.
  2. Really cool article. It was fun looking back at these performances. Lauer’s game against the Phillies was pretty awesome so tough not to include that one in the top 5, but can’t disagree with the rest.
  3. Yeah the list of even remotely interesting free agents is almost down to none for me. Maybe a couple of bullpen arms.
  4. The Brewers should just give the poor guy a fresh start with a rebuilding team who will give him consistent playing time. The back and forth between AAA and MLB and the very sporadic playing time isn't doing him any good.
  5. Yeah the Mets or Padres will offer him $300+ million and not even blink an eye.
  6. Turang has played a total of 175 games in Nashville over the span of two years. He needs to play now. If not now, then when?
  7. Yeah best to just hang in there until February for any kind of free agent deals. Guys typically don't sign with the Brewers until they've exhausted all other options and they're desperate.
  8. They sure are stockpiling the mediocre infielders, aren't they? Seems like Hiura might be on his way out.
  9. It’s absolutely unbelievable that Tyrone is still in pre-arb. Feels like he’s been a Brewer for 10+ years.
  10. Awesome trade for the Brewers and that lineup for Atlanta is going to be ridiculously deep. Glad we’re not in their division!
  11. Why the Braves and A’s even invited the Brewers to the party, I have no idea. Did they just sneak in and nobody noticed?
  12. Or a draft pick? I mean, this is nuts.
  13. Sounds like it really is just Ruiz, folks.
  14. I’m guessing a big difference in defense? Murphy is probably better in that department but I’m just guessing.
  15. Wait, is it seriously just going to be Ruiz?
  16. I just think his name would have come up by now.
  17. Ruiz can’t be it obviously but if he’s the only OF who goes, I’ll be ecstatic.
  18. Sounds like additional players are headed to Milwaukee, per Passan.
  19. It’s gonna be Frelick+, isn’t it? Yikes.
  20. How is his defense compared to his brother?
  21. Great article. I know he’s not everybody’s favorite cup of tea, but I’ve always liked Schroeder as an announcer and will miss him when he retires. My favorite memory of his is when the Brewers won the last game in 2008 to clinch a playoff birth and just the pure joy and excitement from him on the final out of the game. That’s always stuck with me.
  22. Yeah I get the feeling the Brewers aren’t all that high on Feliciano. They had many opportunities last season to call him up due to injuries and non-productive play from the catching position and he was up once for two whole games.
