    Hard to believe we're middle of the pack in homeruns, considering we've gotten nothing out of Voit, Contreras and Winker in that department.

    I’m really starting to enjoy following this Guilarte kid in Carolina. There are a lot of gnarly batting averages in that Carolina lineup but Guilarte has been on base machine. Seems like an exciting player. Also, I think it might be time for Wood to head to Appleton.

    If there is one constant with this team, it is struggling against left-handed pitching. Doesn’t matter if that pitcher is Madison Bumgarner in his prime or some random AAAA pitcher.

    Agreed completely. I understand your catcher needs a day off here and there but not every few days. Heck, put him at DH when he needs a day off. He needs to be in the damn lineup.

    At worst, Frelick will be a September call up whether or not the Brewers are contending. Just to get his feet wet.

    This is the worst. Two of your top prospects going down for large chunks of time basically at the same time.

    Monterrey might be a better overall option. 2nd largest city in Mexico and is closer to the U.S. than Mexico City so travel wouldn't be as bad.

    Always get a little uneasy whenever we face a lefty, even though we have a lot of new faces in our lineup. This feels like the one game in the series that could be a loss. I feel good about winning the series.

    Chourio had a good weekend so hopefully he's starting to heat up and Black has been good, but for the most part, there hasn't been a whole lot to get excited about.

    And many people don't visit Vegas in the middle of summer, which makes up the bulk of the baseball season. I'll be interested to see what kind of crowds they get in June, July and August every season.

    We'll see but I believe they've played Wiemer in CF on days when Mitchell doesn't start.
