  1. Has Mark A commented on this issue at all? Where has he been all summer? I’m sure this is all posturing by all of these different politicians but just the mention of possible relocation is frightening.
  2. What in the world happened to the Diamondbacks? At one point, they looked like one the better teams in the NL and now find themselves two games under .500 and barely in wildcard contention. Is it injuries? Youth just catching up to them?
  3. I have nothing positive to say about tonight’s games except for maybe Gasser pitching a nice game. One of those nights.
  4. At the very least, Wiemer should only start against LH pitchers.
  5. Chourio getting a rest tonight which is probably much needed.
  6. Looks like Dylan O’Rae is being promoted to Carolina.
  7. If Black doesn’t completely flop in AAA over the next few weeks, I think it will be him. I think they have him following the same trajectory as Mitchell did last year.
  8. If he were a year older, I could see him being a September call up but with the fact that he’s 19 and still in AA at this point, I don’t see it happening. I suppose they could promote him to AAA the last couple weeks of August and then to Milwaukee on September 1 or just call him up right from AA but that seems very unlikely.
  9. Black hasn’t hit much yet since his promotion but he’s still walking a ton.
  10. Quero at 34 and Misiorowski at 38 is what I’ve been able to gather from Twitter so far. Don’t have a subscription anymore.
  11. MLB Pipeline will be sending out their updated top 100 and top 30 for every team lists tonight. They listed Yophery Rodriguez as the Brewers biggest riser. Brewers: Yophery Rodriguez, OFMilwaukee signed Rodriguez -- then ranked as MLB Pipeline’s No. 22 international prospect -- for $1.5 million out of Venezuela back in January, and he’s been a prominent DSL performer so far, hitting .284/.432/.514 with six homers in 43 games. Even more astounding, he’s walked 39 times and struck out only 28 times for a 1.4 BB/K ratio that ranks second among DSL players with at least 190 plate appearances. Milwaukee knows how to develop outfielders, and Rodriguez could be its next success story.
  12. Just looking through the Mudcats lineup, I think the Timber Rattlers are going to be a lot of fun to follow next year with guys like Lara, Guilarte, Areinamo and Adams all getting the bump. Not sure if Wilken and Boeve will start the year in high-A (probably not I’m guessing) but that would be quite the lineup if they did.
  13. Biloxi is having a heck of a time getting anything going offensively against this Smokies pitching staff so far in the series.
  14. I’m getting major Schoop vibes from him.
  15. Yeah initial reports indicated it would be a fairly short-term injury but we’re going on a few weeks now. Hopefully just being extra cautious.
  16. Get ready for this board to explode if Flexen pitches a gem and the Rockies win the series.
  17. I’m a huge Counsell fan but he managed this game like he was drunk.
  18. Don’t we have pretty horrific numbers against Freeland as a team?
  19. This is really bizarre. There has to be more to this story, right?
  20. Hiura just needs to be released or traded in the offseason so everybody can move on with their lives.
