I've been with them since 1995 and saw them all the way back to their very first tour in like 1999 when they were playing small clubs and doing their very best to put on an actual theatric/dramatic show. It's so great that by now they're playing arenas and performing for thousands every night. I think Paul O'Neill is one of the greatest songwriters of our time, and the fact that mostly all his works get crafted into wondrous and majestic stories/rock operas/concept albums is a delicious bonus. If you don't have the albums Christmas Eve & Other Stories and The Christmas Attic, go buy them and start spinning them, especially after Thanksgiving. They're probably two of the top 25 cds in my collection of 800. Their shows are great, but be prepared for some sacharine-sweet and Broadway-style dramatics. Rock/metal music, well-written songs, great stories to tell, symphonic bombasts, great singing from several vocalists, slow songs, fast songs, light songs, heavy songs, exciting light show, and Christmas magic everywhere. It rules.
