  1. He's not even doing that of late - only 1 of the last 5.
  2. Agreed on both points. If we do get to the end of the year and Mis, Harrison, and Henderson are all in a good spot, I feel pretty good about at least getting to the point of having to fact the Dodgers again (while recognizing that anything can happen in a series). The key is do we get to the end of the season in that state.
  3. Even if we do have Mitchell longer term, I think you still slide him over to right to make way for Lara. Depending on what happens with Bauers/1B Jake may not be in the OF much, so you would have 4 OF to cover the 3 spots.
  4. Henderson, for one. If Harrison is just out for a week or two, whatever. If this turns into something more extended, then yeah we got concerns.
  5. He won't be changing places with a position player.
  6. I can't say what level of activity he was doing, as I wasn't watching, but on the radio as Ashby was getting into his jam they said Abner was starting to warm up. Whether it was just stretching and they could have stopped and moved to Megill when he got out of it, I'm not sure. Or maybe they just decided that either way Uribe would be next.
  7. Correct, he started warming in the 8th, so you might as well bring him in at that pointn.
  8. It's because Uribe was already up, so you might as well bring him in.
  9. Writing about other writers' articles about the Brewers feels like just doing it for clicks - which I assume it is, but it's not actual original content, nor is it a rumor just a guy's idea about good fits.
  10. Mitchell leading off, both Bauers and Vaughn in the lineup - I approve of this configuration.
  11. I'd l.ike to see position player pitching banned. If you're concerned about wearing out arms, then have an actual pitcher throw 40mph lobs. Either way, you should have to wear it.
  12. Agreed there's definitely an argument for doing it earlier with Frelick, but it should surprise absolutely no one that he PH there.
  13. It's funny that we think of 98mph cutters and 90mph curves as mediocre.
  14. He totally has almost every first inning though, it's been straight gas. I can't remember this many curves this early.
  15. Yeah, Yelich at least historically provided a decent OBP even after his power dipped, and obviously is sublime at running the bases. That's a good description of a leadoff hitter. Now it's probably more out of habit than anything. If Mitchell stays on fire he should move up.
  16. I didn't realize until a recent broadcast (Friday maybe?) where the broadcaster noted that he didn't even start hitting LH until he was a professional. That could at least explain the difference in results.
  17. With the win tonight, we're officially back to .500 in the NL (2,261-2,261-1).
  18. Have done a number of European trips with lots of kids. Portugal is a great country to spend 1-2 weeks in. Lisbon is a fun city, but like Italy you can see very different regions in a small area. Sintra is one of the favorite places I've been to in any country. If you haven't been to England, also offers a great mix of experiences. London is probably my favorite big city, and then you have lots of other places to dip into. Highly recommend Budapest and Vienna as well.
