  1. I don't know if it's on MLB.TV, but it's definitely not on regular TV.
  2. 20 pitches in the first inning for Santana.....EXCELLENT
  3. What is awesome is that there is (according ESPN) a 77.5% chance that the Brewers will win the wild card. Earlier in the week it was around 20% or so. I can't wait 2 + hours....I want the game NOW!!
  4. TWR, really? Wow....that would make for a good game. But seriously, has there been a more fun, exciting and nervewracking week of baseball since 82? I don't remember much about 82, being 5 and all, but that probably was exciting and nervewracking as well. But between Prince's walkoff, Braun's walkoff, Rickie's bomb last night, the return of Yo, and the studliness of McClung last night, there's been so many big things. I'm expecting the same thing this afternoon.
  5. Talk about muscles and flexing....I think Seth has Kapler beat!
  6. I would really like to see him not leave. I think between he and CC, he's got the better chance to be a Brewer next year. I would love to have both, but just don't see how feasible that is. But I hope he does great and gives a hugely gutting performance. I love the fact that he's not on a pitch count, just let him pitch as long as he feels good. And I think with things being the way they are, he's going to try to pitch until his arm falls off.
  7. However, I think Soup would have went back out there for the 6th with Ned.
  8. LinkSeth McBigBoy, king of awesomeness. Amazing stuff.
  9. Someone mentioned in the in-game chat last night having McClung close next year. The more I'm thinking about it, it wouldn't be the worst option. Any thoughts?
  10. Mets left 2 on, but scored 0 runs. Hopefully this continues...
  11. Just heard per WTMJ that Sheeter is going tomorrow night! Awesome!
  12. Good to hear that apparently it's not broken or missing. A request for the next 3 games....can we NOT have to wait until the last at-bat to win the game and avoid not only the heartache and the pain that it causes the fans, but the potential injury it may cause for the team? Thank you Brewers!
  13. Interesting article about athletes and charities Link Eric Gagne may be a saint. But do remember that he is accused of using PEDs to cheat at his job, the one that gave him the money to give away. Giving away tickets is a nice gesture, and shows goodwill to the community. I would guess that most well-known (and not as well-known) athletes and public figures have some sort of charity. All I was saying before was that it was nice that he was donating money back to the community as, in my eyes, he didn't do a whole lot to earn that money. You can argue about earning or not, I was just sharing my opinion.
  14. Awesomely good! Very funny stuff! I didn't expect the proposal, but at least they didn't let it linger, so I guess that's good.
  15. Probably not a whole lot of WaMu folks saying WooHoo anymore. It's sad. Just a reminder that we all need to live within our means.
  16. Yo is awesome. In watching last night, I couldn't help but think what could have been this year had he not been hurt. I had him on my fantasy team this year, because I knew he was going to have a breakout year. It WILL happen next year. He's a legitimate ace, a legitimate workhorse with amazing stuff. His first start back after having ACL surgery (in the same season, by the way) and he gets 7 Ks? Impressive. If (huge if, I know) the Brewers get into the playoffs, Yo is going to be a huge help in propelling them forward. I love Yo!
  17. Ichiro for Hart? Maybe throw in another minor leaguer? Got your leadoff guy there!
  18. Agreed, it was a classy move. I didn't say it wasn't. He just didn't earn his $10 million contract, and the classier thing to do would be to give most of it back, as he didn't earn it. He may be the greatest guy in the world, but for most of the season, last night excluded, he hasn't pitched well.
  19. The Brewers just need to win the rest of their games. That's all that is important at this point. Win the games in front of you and let the rest shake out, especially with the weather.
  20. Is this part of Gagne's giving back $10 million to the community, as he really didn't earn his money this season?
  21. Bill Michaels and Jim Gantner can tell you all about it.
  22. Not a bad idea
