I prefer "Little League" lineup instead of forfeit.. everybody gets to play but keep your two best players in to prevent a total meltdown.

The headline on ESPN.Com absolutely blows me away. "Slumping Brewers try to regroup vs. D-Backs".

Actually, I would say we're slumping lately. Fortunately though we've still been winning games.

if that were the case, everybody (hardy, weeks, mench, miller) would get in on this game. that's not the point of the forfeit lineup.

Anyone else rather see Turnbow or Sheets up at the plate next time, instead of Gross. He's just painful to watch. At least with the pitchers, you get some comedic value. Hopefully, when Spurling comes back, they send Gross down.

I thought Wise had been traded?

Cincinatti decided against doing the deal after calculating the number of salad tongs in the city.

The one concern about trading Wise away from T-Bow is the same concern when they took Angelo Dundee away from Tyson?

How long before T-Bow shows up on the mound with a face tattoo?

This is weird. Granted Balfour did what he does when he gives up runs and put up a 3 spot yesterday, but why pitch Wise today? Why not Manny? So he can go 2 weeks between pitching?

Why is Ned giving Manny the Dessens treatment? I guess he foresees a short start by either Bush or Soup this weekend?

Maybe we'll see Manny for 2 after Wise gets an inning of work?

Gross? Wouldn't Nix or Rottino be a better option

I think there's a clause in Yost's contract that he has to completely mismanage the bullpen in at least one game a week. Since this is a pennant race, he's getting it out of the way in a relative blowout today. Good thinking, Ned.

I'd assume Parra for the 8th, and the 9th if all goes well. But I have gone crazy trying to outguess Ned and Maddux.

Parra would get Montero, a lefty, followed by a PH and then the SH Davanon. Good spot for him to break in I'd think.
