7 RBI for Miller! Wow. lol

This is why I'm astounded when some people claim Jim Tracey is a better manager than Yost.

Just keep giving us those free baserunners, thanks.

Wow Damian is on fire!!! I don't understand walking Jenks to get to the hottest player on our team but whatever nicely played Mr Tracey.

Peavey is going for the consecutive series record of dropping that same quote!

Man is it a luxury to have a backup catcher that can contribute offensively. Long, long gone are the days of Moeller/Bennett/Blanco/Bako etc. Way to go old man.

Those Grand Slams sure are nice.

Remember last year when we didn't have a single one? What is it now, 6 on the year?

There was a stretch of the season where I wasn't sure if Miller was going to provide that much for the team besides insurance. I guess that has changed...

What Miller has done his last 2 starts is just insane. There's no explanation. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

EDIT: The Brewers score 7 runs in an inning where the pitcher makes 2 outs. Crazy.

Dlipped over to ESPN during the pitching changes. They showed the Miller slam highlight, prefacing it by saying the Brewers need to be paying attention to what the Cubs are doing. True enough, I suppose, for the midway point of the season. But they really do seem to be ignoring altogether the fact that the Brewers have the best record in the NL and the second biggest division lead in baseball.

I'n guressing before long they'll have Santo on the payroll in Brostol.

Yep. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

It's nice to actually play these guys and see how good Ned actually is compared to the NL Central managers not named Larussa.

Miller now has a higher OPS than Estrada. It was .572 to starts ago.

Peavy, one of the things I love about Yost is his almost complete refusal to give free base runners to the opposition. Managers are usually too busy trying not to let player "x" beat them to have the huevos to do the right thing.
