Wow, Curry is for real. Flowers is playing great defense and Curry still has 11.

 

After the slow start, the Badgers now look as good as they have all year. Hopefully Bohannon can step up with Hughes out, but I worry about fatigue in the 2nd half the way Flowers is flying around the court.

yeah, this hasn't been quite the game I thought it would be. We can't stay in for offensive rebounds because we have to get back on defense for their pressure offense.

My take: Davidson needed to shoot 61.5% from outside ....just to be tied at the half.

 

Look for Wisconsin to slowly pull away in the second half (I hope).

That short three point line is the great equalizer in college ball. When a team goes 8/12 from three, they are going to stay in the game vs a higher seed.

 

The bad thing about that is these guys aren't just mediocre shooters that had a lucky half, they could keep draining bombs.

In the first 2 games, Curry had OK first halves, and then went insane in the 2nd half. So what does that mean for this game? Does he come back to earth in the second half, or will he be (in the words of NBA Jam).....on fire?

The Badgers are playing great, but Davidson is not going to keep up this shooting. Wisconsin will make halftime adjustments and slow the game down in the 2nd half.
