I almost called that one. Jiminy Beeswax.

At least I'm not saying any of the "THAT'S IT WITH THIS TEAM! I'M DONE WATCHING THIS GARBAGE!" kind of stuff like I've read here in past seasons. One game will not break the season.

(unless, Turnbow collapses for the rest of the season like last year as a result of tonight. I'll reserve the right to change my opinion on the "break the season" comment in about a month.)

I expect the Brewers to lose so I don't get as mad when they lose, but that was stupid of Yost. He left him in there 5 too many batters AT LEAST.

Well CoCo should be in this game by this point, I won't defend that, when it was 6-5 he should have been brought in if not sooner. But not bringing Turnbow to start the 8th isn't the worst move in the world, its just funny how no matter what he does you guys @#%$ about it and you even change your opinions about what should be done from game to game.

Derrick Turnbow is meat when he doesn't throw his curve ball for strikes. Why they kept him out there when he wasn't even willing to try to throw it is beyond me.

I'm guessing Yost using Shouse to start the inning is his way to tell Doug and Gord that Chris Spurling sucks. If he has to choose between Spurling and his LOOGY with a 4 run lead, he's going to take the LOOGY.

*sigh* This is an unfortunate turn of events.

Yay, Yost, way to make that move about 5 batters too late. He was quick to pull Bush, but waits forever to pull Tunbow when its obvious that he did not have it. Jeezzz, what is that site www.firenedyost.com I used to hate that site, but man, its looking pretty good now.

I know, I know knee jerk.

Inning would be over now if Fielder didn't make that bonehead play.

This is not how the 07' Brewers have looked at all. This is carbon copy 05' and 06' teams though.

I just hope Turnbow isn't garbage now the rest of the year, his confidence is probably shot.

Tonight is a really good example of how managers really don't win games, but they certainly can lose them.

Tonight is also a really good example that the Brewers need a second lefty in the pen. If there is a member of the pen to worry about a heck of a lot more than Dessens, its Shouse.

Last time Turnbow came in to start the 8th with a 4 run lead everyone yelled at Yost about not wasting him... which one is it~

Shouse shouldn't be brought in to face righties ever. I'll take Spurling or anyone else over Shouse's 80 MPH fastball against a righty.

Come on, who else do we have to pitch the 9th if Cordero is brought in. He's already been overpitched this season. The 8th is Turnbow's to win or lose, and apparently today he got shelled. Hardly Yost's fault. He can't run his pitchers into the ground (as many on this site would have him do).
