Either way saying "Does he only have 1! homer in this series?" is bad because you play somewhere around 50 series. 1 homer times 50+ series= 50+ dingers.

THAT was more improbable than graffy and Estrada both having 4 hits each. Tonight..........for once, putting up with all the strikeouts and groundouts to the right side is worth it.

Nope. He's actually hit a homer and 2 singles tonight, too. I agree prince has been doing a tad more hacking, but Hardy's approach is the one that'd really scare me

Wow I fall asleep during top of nine, wake up and see extra innings, a blown save, and then Gameday tells me, "in play, run scoring play" as I flip back from checking the game log. It's like I didn't miss a thing!

 

edit. wow JJ's 1 for 7 looks pretty crappy.

Not trying to dampen anyone's mood, but a reality check: we just needed a 3-run homerun in the 12th inning to avoid a 3-game sweep to the worst team in the American League.

 

We still got a tough week ahead of us, and this team is gonna have to work really hard to return to Milwaukee with a record of .500 or better.
