endaround: can you (re-re-re)re-post the link to the scenario percentage calculator? I lost it after last season.

now hoping sheets has a long start tomorrow....

edit: nevermind. I was thinking about the (non-live) calculator where you input the current scenario and it tells you the trends

I really ought to stop trying to understand Ned and his bullpen usage. You have the guy who barely made the team (Aquino) out there with the game on the line a couple of nights ago, and now you plug in your stud setup guy with a four run lead.

Best I can figure it is that Turnbow is the Eighth Inning Guy, and must pitch the eighth inning or not at all. Aquino is a Middle Reliever, to be used exclusively in innings 5 through 7 which are the Middle Innings. (For whatever reason, I imagine Ned's thoughts on things to include lots of Capital Letters.)

And look at this, TBow walks two and this game could be close very soon. I always hate when people assume victories when games are far from over. I don't like the karma. 6 runs yes...4 runs???

Is Turnbow wearing his hat crooked to the left by any chance today? This seems all too familiar.

Lets not all just jump on the oh T-blow, this is only one outing, I'm sure he can get his head on straight...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

They are Important Concepts, so you are Right On Target to capitalize.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Four runs in two innings would mean an ERA around 18. The worst pitcher on your staff should be able to manage that.

Now the players and the manager ought not assume that the game is over, and hopefully Yost can do something about that, which I could imagine would be an issue for a young team. But a fan far from the action...why not?

What is bad about this situation was that it was totally avoidable if you just keep Villy in. Now TBow will definitely be out tomorrow and Cordero might be hurting a bit too if he has to pitch alot today. I just don't like the managing.

WE NEED A RUN or TWO now!!!

May turn out to be smart move by Ned. He had to figure Turnbow for an outing like this was coming, so why not it be in a game they are up by 4, instead of a one or two run game.

Thats true I like to look on the brightside.

Personally I think Yost overmanaged...CV was cruising from what I could tell, and I'd be worried about Turnbow in particular lacking focus with a four-run lead. He seems like a guy who lives and dies with adrenaline. Hindsight is easy of course, but the record will show that I didn't like pinch-hitting for CV in the first place.

Trust me, I always try to look on the bright side. I am just trying to be real and let it be known that we need to capitalize more in run scoring situations. This game should be over.

It also probably is driving me more nuts today because I have to watch game with Gameday. The anticipation alone makes me nuts.
