Suppan might be able to get a CG here. With a lead like this, he'll put it in cruise control and just throw sinkers on the corners. I would think he should have 110 pitches in his tank.

if the pitch count was lower I'd agree. But 95 already, I'm more reluctant. I'd consider Villanueva for 3 innings to conserve the pen.

I'm not. Got the trusted MLB gametracker up. I just know that when you have a 3 inning guy like Villanueva, this is a better role than trying to bring him in with 1 out in the 6th in a 4-3 game, and a runner on second. Let him start innings, and have it set up where he can go several innings and get some flow on the mound
