Sorry, there will not be an IGT for today since I'm just about to go out of town. So someone else can make one for Saturday and Sunday's game and I will have one for Monday's game.

BEAT THE CARDS!

If we beat the Cards 9-0 tonight and continue to win games 2 and 3, let's avoid the IGT on Monday too to complete the sweep. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Then we can bring it back on Tuesday for the Dodgers. haha.

I'm only kidding, but this team needs a spark and maybe no IGT will be just the spark they need. God baseball fans (like me) are superstitious. Have a great weekend away Woogie.

I to am superstitious and since it's Friday and they are wearing the 82's retro uni's I'm really fearing loss 7 in a row. They don't seem to play very well wearing that hat and those jersey's. Prove me wrong guys.

I thought the same thing. While I always look forward to the awesome IGT opening posts, if they win without it, is it wise to tempt fate?

Don't worry guys - unfortunately we won't have to worry about it. There is NO way this team wins 3 games in a row right now. Especially when no matter what happens or how bad we look, Ned will say everything is just fine and dandy

Does anyone know or willing to research the Brewers record sine 2006 when they starting wearing the retro uni's? I know it's bad.

Maybe we should see what the Brewers record is when Prince has a shaved headhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

On Fridays at home, they were 5-8 both in 2006 and 2007. This year so far, the record is 1-1.

Edit: I just remembered, in 2006 didn't they wear the retros on Sundays at home? That record is 6-7.

And I believe they've only worn them for 1 Friday this season. The first Friday game was Opening Day and they wore normal uniforms.

I'm kind of curious about who the Cubs fans that go to Miller Park root for when the Brewers face the Cards.

Yup Sunday's in 2006 so:

2006: 6-7

2007: 5-8

2008: 0-1

Total: 11-16

Still bad, but not as bad as I thought. Still need to get rid of those things.

I think they just randomly swear at little kids, chant "Lesh go CUB-BIES!" and pour beer on anything that moves.

Anyway, I hope tonight is when Manny Parra remembers that he's a good pitcher and starts trusting in his stuff and pitching to contact, the Cardinals lineup remembers that it's seven professional out-makers and Albert Pujols, and the Brewers don't kick off another sweep in the negative direction.

Edit: I decided to make the Cub-fan trashing in blue. They're usually not that bad.

Will Leitch the creator and editor of deadspin.com will be in attendance for the first two games of the series. He is a huge Cardinals fan and was in town last night for a book appearance in Brookfield.
