whether or not that was a HR... (was)

that was 2 abominable plays by Cameron on the carom and the throw. Wow.

what happened? gameday changed from a triple to a homer!

They initially called it a triple. Acta argued, the umps got together and changed the call to a HR.

say hello to instant replay next year, mlb fans.

what a crock.

and more so, why ned didn't argue and get ejected is possbily more pathetic than the changed, wrong call...

what a turd.

Umpire conference determined that it was a home run. Surprised the new ballpark has no yellow line on the wall to help with those calls.

Chalk up another example for instant replay's need.

lukevan,

The ball caromed off the very top of the wall at a weird angle. Young huffed and puffed for the triple (which was hilarious, btw). After a minute, the umps waved him home and called it a HR because of where it hit the wall. It looks like a good call based on the replay, unfortauntely.

Who'd have thought that the LOOGY probably isn't the best idea against righties?

He got five outs, and it should be man on third, 2 outs.

steaming fly buzzing horse dung call.

who could possible reverse that in real time?!

Yost not getting ejected. Yost letting Shouse have Young.

I have owned up and admitted in 2 recent IGTs that "Yost has done nothing wrong" but that Shouse judgment is atrociously kindergardenian.

Umps talked it over and came back with the wrong call

EDIT:If that gray I-beam is actually out (which is a stupid thing to do) it was the right call

So some managers can get calls reversed?

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

A high fastball and you'd think that Milledge had to get out of the way for fear of his life. Just plunk him Tim.

WASN'T, first of all. secondly, i've never seen a carom like that and not sure it's that easy to play.

I don't know how they can all of a sudden get together and change the call. Even the slow-mo replay didn't provide swaying evidence.

I know Bud is against replay, but there is a need for the system for disputed HR calls.

thanks for the update all, but crap! I thought Dillard was going to get the chance in the 8th but Yost just knows how to push all the wrong buttons.

Amazing how we make this a Ned issue.

Great. Now, if we lose, Yost has a built-in defense.

They give you bats for a reason, boys. All you need is one run two runs three runs some runs and a rainout in the bottom half.

Well here we go again to the bottom of the 9th. I don't have a real good feeling about this game, didn't really have one all game but maybe they'll prove me wrong.
