Food and Drink Combos

I told wifey I was going to 7-11 and she asked for a Code Red Mountain Dew and some Peanut M&M's. It was about the third time she's had this combo in about two weeks - so that got me thinking. What are some of your favorite food and drink combos?

1. Honey Roasted peanuts and Bud Ice.

2. Buffalo Ranch Doritos and Code Red Mountian Dew. (wifey got the code red from me.

3. Steak and Chese Subway Sandwich and Fruit Punch.

4. Hooters mild chicken wings and Long Island Ice Tea.

5. White Castle cheeseburgers with a chocolate shake.

Lets have some others.

Beer with beer. One in the left hand, one in the right.

Actually, beer with anything.

Those fruity drinks all sound absurdly awful. I dont get the craze with all these hyper-candyfied drinks. Speaking of which, why is there sugar in diet green tea? There is no sugar in green tea.

i used to have several sandwich/chip combinations:

- pb&j and doritos. (i would never eat a dorito unless it was with a pb&j)

- salami sandwich and fritos (i would never eat a frito unless it was with a salami sandwich)

- turkey sandwich and regular potato chips

now a days, i dont eat chips much anymore, i've converted to almonds for the health factor.

however, my new fav combos are:

peanut butter on toast (breakfast) with cottage cheese (on the side, not on top)

BLT with cottage cheese

as far as food/drink combos:

milk with any meal (even fast food)

beer and dry breakfast cereal (cap'n crunch, lucky charms, etc)

beer and pretzels (especially butter spindles)

Just curious, do you pour the beer on the Cap'n Crunch?

Milk and almost anything...except sushi.

Mmmm http://bestsmileys.com/puking/2.gif

However, Sushi and sake is good

MGD and a Chicago Style hot dog

But I heartily agree with beer with anything especially another beer.

if i poured the beer on the capn crunch, than it would no longer be dry breakfast cereal, right? silly cub fan. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

then again... maybe i should try that sometime...

in all seriousness, i just munch on the cereal straight out of the box, just like if it were a bag of pretzels or chips...

When I was in college I lived on the trifecta of Ritz crackers, Peanut M&M's, and Mountain Dew.
