I'll be deep in the cold, cold ground before I use the phrase "MillerCoors Park" to describe where the Brewers play home games.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

There are actually lots of different beers at Miller Park already.

What is there other than Miller products? I've only seen a few different types of Leinie's and Miller Lite and High Life.

Right around 1B on the 2nd level they have a stand with a cooler. I have also seen it other places as well, behind home plate. They have Capital Brewery beers and I think Riverfront Brewery beers. I think they also sell Mike's Hard Lemonade at those places.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

My advice is to buy a 6-pack of whatever beer you like best. Down it in the parking lot before the game and it will cost the same price as one beer in the stadium.

That being said, for when I get a real job, a few more beers on tap would be nice.

Didn't Coors merge with Miller? I thought they did, and iirc Coors has the controlling big-shots when it comes to executives. That would explain it.

Yeah, the merger thing was mentioned in the first post in this topic. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Anyway, more beer selection is never a negative in my book.

Don't forget PBR on Terrace.

I personally think they should sell Mickey Grenades in the bleachers. Now that would be... fun?

Hell, just go for the full 40 ouncers.

I actually did not know 'til a couple days ago that Miller produces Mickeys. Never drank one in my life, either.

Killian's Red is somehow affiliated with Coors. Coors really has a lot of different beers associated with it that look to be from different brewers.

100% false. It is a joint venture that has a 50-50 split of board spots. Miller actually has a higher, I believe, 58% financial stake in the the JV. Also, this is only for the distribution and production of products sold in the USA and Puerto Rico.

Yes the first CEO is from Coors but he is a damn good one. The next CEO is former Miller CEO Tom Long who is now the #2 man of MillerCoors.

It more has to do with the fact that Coors Light will soon be brewed in Milwaukee as Coors only has 2 breweries compared to the 8 Miller has. This is the largest gain Coors will get in the JV. Also, it will help MillerCoors brew more of their own brands with their excess capacity instead of doing so much contract brewing (Sam Adams, Pabst, Schlitz, Blatz, ect.)

I personally prefer Miller High Life to all other Miller products, with Lite bringing up the rear. Still can't figure out why they sell Genuine Draft and not High Life.

I'd rather drink ANY other beer (outside of Schlitz) than Miller Lite.

Meh, all beer tastes the saem anyway, like swamp pee.

I just feel sorry for you. Oh well, more for the rest of us! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

You can get High Life, but only on draft. The reason behind not having Miller High Life in plastic bottles is pure economics. Miller High Life does not carry a price point, other than in Milwaukee, to be able to cover the costs of producing the product in plastic. MGD does carry that higher price point.
