I don't know if there were longer threads that were lost or whatever, but that's what I came up with. Funny that 4 of the 5 are Cubs games, and three of those involve Zambrano.

Biggest game of the year let's go crew. Screw the lineup we just need to play baseball like we're supposed to. My only complaint is 3 games benched in a row for our best September hitter.

For all those who are so much on the Weeks bandwagon, I understand his recent stats and his quality OBP over the years. However, as much as I love stats and use them for my teams, sometimes the "eye test" is all a manager/coach has. Stats can be deceiving (as can the eye test) and I'm glad we can have debates like this, but there may not be an absolute right answer.

I still think for tonight Durham makes sense with his numbers vs. Dempster (I know, small sample)

I'm only watching on Gamecast, but man, that seemed like a great job of pitching to Hardy. Five straight low-outside sliders, then nail him on a high fastball.
