how can anyone swing at the first pitch when the bases are loaded and a guy just walked a guy on 4 pitches to walk in a run?

 

 

Isn't that like....a rule?

 

 

 

Only on the Brewers I think. Other teams are a little more flexible and actually allow their players to take a strike......=)

Four pitches? Is this place going to melt down if he comes out in the 8th too? I'd like to see him pitch until he gives up a hit.
But it wouldn't be fair to take him out in the middle of an inning, to him and the... wait, wrong manager...

i'm very impressed with coffey, i always like him while he was with the reds and he was pretty darn good last year. I'd be fine with him added to the post season roster to replace riske.

Seriously, I'm getting really concerned about the offense and their extended hitting slump.

 

The last time I felt the offense was going well was during the 2nd game of the Pittsburgh series, only 19 games ago
