Get over the bush league stuff on Lou. When you've clinched home field throughout why would you trot out your best relievers in a rainstorm. Marmol and Wood both threw Tuesday and they will probably throw once against the Brewers. It's the Brewers fault for putting themselves into a position where they need the Cubs to help them. Give credit to Lou for throwing Harden 6.

Hart was acceptable before Sept but he has had one of the worst months of any player I've seen this month. A .446 OPS in 87 AB.

 

Fielder is too short to play 1B, 99% of 1B can make that stretch.

This is a point that often gets overlooked. If we win 10 or 11 games so far this month, which is really just a .500 record we're talking about clinching the wildcard right now.

Hart sucking =Gwynn playing well...... only difference is Hart might get lucky and hit one out once in a while.

Oh yeah, i can agree with this~ Sucks that Kapler got hurt and Gross was traded for no good reason. Sure could use Gross now.
