Koskie's been a big steaming pile of *&&^ this game.

Same goes for Weeks and Sheets. That was a tough loss only because the Brewers did not play well at all. Sometimes you get beat and sometomes you lose. Tonight I'd say they lost a bit more tha nthey were beat. Ah well. Can't win 'em all. Currently on pace for 90 wins!

Wow, I can't believe we lost to these guys. I still feel like we were the better team by far, but just imploded and gave them the game.

Ouch, that game really hurt. To look on the positive, despite a bad start by Sheets, bad baserunning and fielding by Weeks, a brain-fart by Koskie, and some questionable strike calls, we only lost by three!

So I'm reaching...

7-9 for the Astros had 6 RBI, I dunno how that happens seeing as they have one of the worst 7-9 in all of the NL.

I guess the other positive I would put on the game would be Ben Hendrickson's pitching performance. He gave the Brewers an opportunity to come back, even though that never happened.

The rest of it was pretty much a festering bowl of dog snot, tho.

That's my new sig line! I love it!

Good thing for Weeks there's no Wonderlick Test in baseball. I don't think you get points for spelling your name right.

Lil' Ben did pitch really well tonight. I was wondering...I remember reading in the minor league forum that Ben's velocity was up to around 93 mph occasionally in Nashville. Did anyone notice what his high was tonight?

Sure Weeks had a few errors, but they didn't cost us any runs. (Although getting thrown out may possibly have cost us one) Honestly the blame for this one lies solely on Ben, giving up 7 runs in 2.1 innings isn't going to cut it.

Rickie had a bad game, but it wasn't his fault we lost.

I've tried to read this IGT a little and went to the chat...I was working this evening and got home for the 8th and beyond. Because of all the time taken by you're a troll no I'm not conversation I want to ask if there is something going on with Ben. Some people seem to think so. I don't know if it is some being defeatest or others being sarcastic about somebody elses sarcastic attitude but there was talk of Ben going on the DL. Is there anything to this. Was it a bad night or is something going on. After reading the article Russ presented the other day that supported inconsistant starting pitchers maybe this is good.

Just not Ben's night or something is wrong. I am currious.

And Riebes24..."Man, the Brewers suck." Very nice, but it needs more cowbell.

I didn't see the beginning of his outing, but I saw him top out at 90 on the fastball.

I thought I had seen him hi 91, but I had to leave the game to work on a paper, so I missed a decent amount.

I doubt there's anything wrong with Ben. After he got in the dugout, the shots they showed of him, he was by himself. If he had trainers and coaches around him, I would have been worried. They let him be because it just wasn't his night...I hope. I'm not anything close to an expert, but his velocity was down on his fastball and his curveball seemed faster with not nearly as much break. Methinks just a bad night.

I am having a hard time trying to figure out why some people on here think the BrewCrew are better than the Astros. The stros went to the World Series last year, and the league championship the year before. Their team is relatively unchanged, and might get Roger Clemens back here before too long. They might not be the most glamourous team, but they have been one of the top teams in the NL for the better part of the last ten years. Just a little confusing to me, thats all.

No word on anything wrong durring the broadcast, also when Coshun interviewed Dave Nelson after the game, he said it just wasn't Ben's night. Seems like nothing wrong, I guess we'll find out.

Disapointing loss obviously. Good job by Hendrickson and nice to see Hall play a good CF.

Go Brewers, Get San Fran. tomorrow.

Sheets hit 95 several times on the radar on TV though apparently Uecker was saying he was topping out in the high 80's.

Edited to up the cowbell effect.

Thank you, that was all I was asking.

but there was talk of Ben going on the DL.

Great. By who?

Don't remember it was in the chat.

Glad to hear that other than him being a little off on the curve and maybe velocity and getting shelled there was no evidence of him being injured like being treated by trainers later. Bad outings happen...and with Ben they seldom happen and I like that.
