I'm so happy right now, and it is only the first game of the season.

I shudder to think of the emotional basketcase I will become if the Crew actually makes the post-season.

Shades of 1987, baby! I want some free burgers.

One bad thing about OD. I work one mile from MP and now I'll be caught up in traffic. :(

That was an emotional rollercoaster!

I'm glad we won, now I can hopefully return to my calmer self before we play for the playoffs in August and September.

Is anyone watching on MLB.TV? Instead of going to commercial they just continue live feed and audio. I couldn't stop laughing at Bill's off-air comments. Darron goes to pee.

Bill: "Where is Darron? I'm I going to have to do this (the advertisements) by myself? Is he coming? I'll just do it myself. Oh, here he is. Jesus, Darron, that was a quick pee, did you go in the corner? Ok, we're back on."

Man i wish i could have been at this game...

Look at Chicago and Cincy slugging it out.. absolutely no pitching whatsoever.

The Pirates are a good team this year. I think they'll be better than Cincy just because of their pitching.. Perez looks like he's back to form, and they have some nice hitters in that lineup. We pitched a perfect game plan today. Nibbled around Bay like we should have.

Any complaints guys?

Sweet win. This team is cool. The key thing was grinding Perez out of the game. They had no luck against him, but they made him throw pitches and got to the soft underbelly and won the game.

I'm so excited to go home and watch the game!

I'm looking forward to the replay. Everybody watch for me. I caught a foul ball in the 2nd inning and I'm eager to see if I'm on TV.

Can there be a subforum made, or can the Spring Training Threads be deleted or moved?

I think it would be better to start with a clean slate with the real Game Threads.

Just got back from the game. Loved every minute of it. Yount had a HUGE standing O from the crowd during introductions, louder than anybody else. Yes, Turnbow's song is still "fuel". Glad to see the brewers pull this one out.

My favorite was when it looked like Rickie was gonna charge the pitcher after getting plunked.

Oh yeah and El Caballo's cruise missile.

The brewer's magic number is 162, baby.

i just got back, not from the game, but from the phone with the milwaukee county sherriff's office because some punk broke into my car by busting out my rear driver's side wing window. the game was seriously the coolest thing ever though. Doug Davis wasn't the best, but he seemed to get out of everything, and Rickie looked good on defense. I still think he got the guy at 2nd with the behind the back flip. But yeah, game was fun, afterwards not so much.
