he still was pretty mad that he dropped that ball, even after the granny. That was probably the most reluctant curtain call I've seen in my life.

well, this is his 2nd year in the bigs so we should have him under "control" thru 2013, I think.

We are blowing through way too many pitchers in this game....

Wow this is one of the strangest in-game threads to read. Approximately 60 comments about the weather and how this team is embarrassing followed by approximately a half dozen positive comments.

Its usually like that.

How is that strange for the IGT?

All wee need is 10 posts about Bill Hall, 5 about Hart's OBP and one about pinch hitting for Jason Kendall.

I guess being that I started reading the thread after the grand slam by McGehee and read straight through it made for strange reading. Normally I ride the roller coaster of ups and downs with everyone else.

Nice to see Billy Hall get a hit! Keep the runs coming, boys. Can we be like the Rangers and play 90% night games at home?

How many points of BA/OBP has JJ increased today. Great game.

They said 12 for his average. Not sure about OBP.

Yay for Tim Lincecum pitching against the Cardinals and not the Brewers! It would've been even more embarrassing than yesterday....Tiny Tim's got a 1-hitter through 6, and a 6-0 lead to work with.

Baseball Reference had JJ's line as 220/ 294/ 340/ 634 coming into tonight.

ESPN.com has JJ's current season stats as 232/ 307/ 370/ 677.

So... +12/ +13/ +30/ +43

Nothing like tacking on 43 points to your OPS in a night in late June!

Two hits and two RBI for Bill Hall? Are these the end days? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Hall now 3 for his last 3. Hawing...guess I need to keep the jersey for a little longer. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

How about Bill Hall with 2 hits in the same game! I've complained about him a lot so I should also say good game tonight. Hopefully this gets his confidence going.

I knew somebody would comment on Hall's 2 hits.

Schroeder did say he did some good work in the cage today, for whatever THAT'S worth. It's kind of like saying I did some good work with morning sit-ups. It doesn't necessarily translate into me having a good day at the (dinner) plate.

Ah, bensheeps, you know I think of you now every time Bill succeeds.

Someone convince me that we weren't stupid to sell our tickets for tonight's game in favor of Tuesday's game.

you would have been forced to watch a Gary Sheffield HR.

Unfortunately...that hasn't been too often.

This is getting a little too close now.
