I really don't care how good Gomez was in spring training, it's amazing to me how he's slotted in a batting order HIGHER than Ryan Braun or Prince Fielder. Mind-boggling. Baseball is a game victimized by tradition.

No kidding. No one apparently even thought to mention that Escobar mishandled an easy throw on the play and then didn't make much of an attempt to go after it until the runner was already in at 2nd.
