BA just said the Brewers have been one of the best defensive teams...

It's really annoying how some people think lack of errors is all it takes to be good at defense

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Please, please, please...can we PLEASE trade Fielder already? I cringe every time he has the ball in his hand. His hitting doesn't make up for all of these errors and unmade plays. Plus, he has a temper that runs even hotter than T.Plush (Go ask Manny Parra)! Get that jerk off of my team already!

He would have easily had him with a good throw.. and that wasnt exactly a difficult one.. I hate how we waste good starts like that, Its so frustrating watching the bottom of the order (plus gomez)

Pretty cool DP

I'm starting to have a deep distrust of this team already. Why do I have the feeling hey'll take that lucky break and manufacture exactlty nothing out of it.

Someday you would think after complaining about the error on McGehee for 10 minutes they might acknowledge errors really aren't a good way to measure defense.

Prince, how are you so incredibly awful at throwing the ball? You played baseball your entire life! My god, you're worse than most amateurs at a basic baseball skill. Just bad.

lol at criticizing Fielder for that play. He was trying to preserve a lead late in the game. He obviously knew he would have to make a really quick, perfect throw to get the guy at home, but I don't fault his decision to not go for the sure out at 1st. If there was a runner on 2nd advancing to 3rd, it would be a different story, but as it was, I don't mind it at all.

It wasn't some run-of-the-mill throw to home. He had to get it out of his glove and to home plate really fast. Most players would have reduced accuracy there.

"If that ball drops, he's only going to get one out."

Think about that again, Brian. If that ball drops he doesn't get any outs.

What are they saving Stetter and Braddock for? To come in to face Howard once the lead is gone?

They're probably saving Braddock for the 8th. If you bring in Stetter to face Gload, the Phillies put in a righty like Mayberry, and then you have Stetter against a RHB, which is never fun. A lefty also puts Victorino on the right side where he's a LOT better. And Polanco is a RHB. The bullpen did fine there, they caught bad breaks with the error and gload's ground ball finding $#%%%!. And they got the break back with that DP.

Have to get a lead here so you can send out Axe next inning

2nd and 3rd w/ nobody out...if they don't score here I'm done w/ this team for a few days. It's just not worth watching.
