I really don't get why Lucroy can't bat fifth, or at least sixth, at this point. He's clearly one of the best hitters on this team right now. I just see him batting 7th in the order as an unnecessary luxury at this time.

I agree that it's a longshot and probably a pipe dream. But I also never really believed that we'd have a pitching rotation that included Greinke and Marcum either.

I think Bautista plays RF in that lineup, and Ellsbury LF, lol.

Furcal is a more reasonable option because we can eat his salary instead of giving up prospects. I would be ok with that and he can stay in the #6 slot.

The guy I actually want that I think is feasible is Hardy. Although, at this point, I'd be happy with darn near anyone that isn't Betancourt.

Hardy is becoming more and more expensive, and is projecting as a Type A. Not sure we can beat the comp picks Baltimore would get if they lose him via free agency. Furcal is probably more realistic. Weeks Morgan Braun Fielder Hart McGehee Furcal Lucroy is a pretty darn good lineup.
