This inning is a disaster from a managing standpoint imo, PH for the C, PH for the pitcher, PH for the CF who can't hit lefties. Play to win the game.

He's managing to not hurt feelings and go with his "hunch." Isn't that what a player's manager does?

The ball might end up right down the middle, but it comes out of the pitchers hand behind the batter. It's really tough for lefties to hit lefty pitching

Do love how Roenicke was still able to 3 lefties in a row to make TLR have an easy job
Kotsay makes it 4 actually

I guess I am the only one who wanted Wolf to stay in...I am probably wrong
I'm fine with it, too. As I said before, I know the 6th inning is where things can often start to get dicey, but Wolf has been pitching well and we have a 2 run lead now. If we were tied or behind, then I would've liked to have seen some moves in that inning. I have a feeling Wolf gets pulled at the first sign of trouble, since there was activity in the bullpen.

Also, there's still another game tomorrow, so I wouldn't mind being able to save a reliever, though that's not a priority.

Should have hit for Wolf there..
I think that only would have made sense if they hit for Kottaras.

I agree that not hitting for Kottaras was dumb regardless of the result which should have been an out anyway.. but then you have a chance to get another extra run and force the Lefty out of the game and you choose not to.. thank goodness the brewer fan in me is bigger than the logic fan so I can enjoy the run.

That was anti-run managing. What on earth was that all about? Why can't I just be happy about a run-scoring inning without boneheaded decision-making ruining it?

If Wolf doesn't pitch through the 8th and hold this lead, we just got Roenicke'd again.

And his management of the Wolf and his personal catcher situation aside, why not pinch hit the better fielder and much better hitter against a lefty in Gomez

Alright! Theriot is still Theriot!
Late to this particular party, but I can't not post this:

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Regular season you keep in Wolf, with a better pitcher you keep in the pitcher. Wolf isn't the guy I worry about going to the bullpen early, especially with how hard it has been to win on the road.

There's a better chance Morgan gets out there than Wolf hitting into a double play. Poor decision.
It was a safety squeeze, Wolf just hit it too hard and towards the pitcher for Hairston to score

So Narveson or Estrada should have gotten the start because Wolf struggled in his first post season start... and now he gives up 2 runs in 5, so we has to be left in there, despite having 2 runners on.

You guys are crazy.
