Ice a bro...? Damn crazy kids. Why can't ya have good clean fun like we used to? Wait 'til the "bro" is at the urinal and kidney-punch him... that'll get his attention.

I hope to say something really profound with my 100th post
Me too, when I hit 10,000.

Here I am feeling good about reaching 100 after years of just reading the board and you have to knock my pride down like that. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Went to Myrtle Beach last week. My son was in a baseball tournament there at the Ripken experience park. Anyways, there was a shark attack at the beach right outside our hotel. 10 year old boy...required 40 stitches. This was the 2nd attack this year off of South Carolina beaches. My son was a bit hesitent about going into the Ocean after this happened.

Just kicked the crap out of Charter over the phone. Got some fees waved (~$150), earned a free internet upgrade for the troubles, and kicked a bunch of channels included in the "2-year promotional deal" we had to cut our monthly bill by nearly 40%.

And we deserved it. They just suck as a company, in my experience.

Caught the tail end of a Ford commercial last night, featuring Mike Rowe (the guy from Dirty Jobs, and the narrator for Deadliest Catch), and for some reason, at that moment, he reminded me of Jim Varney (aka: Ernest P. Worrell). Maybe it was just the way he was talking into the camera, or the fact that he seems to be on just about every commercial these days. Now his approach isn't anywhere near as over the top as the "Hey Vern" commercials were back in the day...but Rowe has definately become the go-to pitch-man to sell your product to Joe Six-Pack.

so, in a couple of hours, I will be taking my wife out for her first round of golf. We've been hitting the range for the past few weeks, with varying degrees of success for her. It should be interesting--we might be done for the day after 3 holes with the way she gets frustrated sometimes.

Oh, man, I'm Facebook friends with both a former co-worker and her husband. It appears that over last weekend she informed him that she wants to end their marriage. This is making for some Facebook awkwardness - which I suppose is less bad than in-person awkwardness, which is unlikely because they now live in another state.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Don't give her any pointers, and everything will be ok.

Pointers make people hate golf.

i went to a Mallards game with someone recently. into the first inning, he commented that it didn't feel nearly as hot outside as the outfield thermometer was saying it was. a few pitches later and there was something wrong with the thermometer because it kept fluctuating.

I'd argue that's true of anything. Only give advice when it's asked for... especially when you're talking things you do for recreation.

I just used "and that" in casual conversation. Good job brainwashing me, Doug.

Once a thread gets to 5 or so pages, I give up on the baseball. If you could get it to work even once on a 145 page thread, I would be happy to declare you king of the yuku.

We have a couple of pet spiders in the living room. Normally, they would meet their fate with the vacuum, but this pair of arachnids have quite the collection of mosquitos and fruit flies. Natural bug control at its finest.

The bug that GAME05 and Stevo are referring to will celebrate its second birthday this month.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
