I had a pretty good laugh today when the daily calendar had state resident nicknames from the 19th century. Apparently Missouri residents are "pukes" and Illinois residents are "suckers" so our to in division rivals are pukes and suckers.

Ooh, I'd forgotten about this. That promotion brings the loge outfield seats vs. Colorado from $28 down to either $11 or $10. So I'd say, pretty quickly.

DirecTV channel 669 (FSN-WI) didn't turn off like usual after the Brewers game. It's currently showing a Spanish-speaking infomercial for food processors.

I am out in Seattle for a vacation and tonight my friends and I decided to go to a Mariners game. In said Mariners game, Russell Branyan completed the trifecta of 3TO. He singled, popped out to third, struck out, walked, and hit a two-run HR. I was proud of Russell.

maybe it's a little ironic that i moved to North Carolina because i was getting a little tired of how long the winter lasts in Wisconsin, yet i still sweat like a pig in this heat and am still most comfortable when it gets "cold" here.

My house was at a comfortable temperature today. I installed a window unit AC, and by the time I was done, I was sweating like a pig. That doesn't make a lot of sense.

 

At least I had the AC to cool me off afterwards.

Whoever did the graffiti on the McDonalds billboard in Waukesha did a pretty good job. My wife thought it was an actual McDonalds sponsored billboard that said "golden showers."
