That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Eickhoff is better than the numbers make him out to be. Unless Anderson pitches a Quality start, I expect the Phillies to win this game behind Eickhoff's pitching. Don't be surprised by a 10k performance by him.

Ryan Howard has been benched to "clear his head." As Davey Nelson put it, he's "struggling like a duck in a desert."

So what exactly is the logic behind bringing in a lefty who doesn't do great against righties to face the best RHB on the other team with the tying run on base? Sure, it worked but it makes no sense.

Carter is starting to look like Rickie Weeks at the plate. He's getting good pitches to hit but isn't doing anything with them.

In the Braves series, one of the Braves TV announcers made an interesting observation about Carter (don't know if it's correct, but it seemed reasonable). He said Carter basically swings on one plane and has trouble adjusting if the ball is not on that plane. When the ball is on that plane, though, watch out.

Is there a delay? GameDay has stopped.

I was wondering the same thing. Bases loaded with Carter up is not the spot I want the updates to freeze.

I'm not totally buying that. He doesn't look like he can handle the high pitch that well but belt and below he seems fine with.

Maybe he's got promise but Broxton is by far the worst hitting position player I've ever seen.

Enrique Cruz for me. He was worse than a pitcher. He was overmatched in every AB.
