My wife is getting a kick out of the wife talk in this thread.

 

I mentioned to my wife at dinner last night that the Brewers had traded Lucroy. Her response: "oh". Clear implication: "I don't care".

 

I mentioned this morning that he had blocked the trade and she just came right out with "yeah, I don't care".

 

 

At least your wife isn't a Cubs fan.

I would think best case would be Gallo and brinson, but I would realistically only expect one of those guys. I don't think profar is the guy bc he's only got 3 years left

My wife got so annoyed with me telling her about the Lucroy trade, but she did find the veto situation interesting.

 

Now the trade deadline is interfering with my work and going to the park to Pokemon it up with my kids.

 

My wife didn't seem to mind me up all night as she didn't have to get up to feed the child.

Nah, it's fine. Far apart could mean that we simply wouldn't include Smith/Jeffress with Luc and by the way the Indians trade went down, I'd think that's a very reasonable assumption.

Lewis Brinson has really struggled this year as a 22 year old in AA, hitting .233/.280/.425

Could be similar to Gomez trade. Adding another high quality player (Jeffress) really moves the needle.

Brinson and Guzman are starting tonight for Frisco (Rangers AA) and Jurado is starting on the mound too..

Many of the Rangers' better prospects going into the year have struggled so far. Brinson, Tate, Beras, Yrizarri, Matuella.

 

I'd be thrilled if they could get Mendez, Tavares, and Jurado for Lucroy.

Brinson has had some nagging injuries affecting his play but he's definitely a physical specimen.. ala Glenn Braggs.. and puts on a great batting practice show
