How many times does Hamilton bunt on Garza today?

Garza is as bad at fielding his position as any pitcher you can ever imagine. I'd probably bunt on him every time if I was Hamilton.

Matt "Magic Man" Garza
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Who was the Reds guy that always hit against us? Well Thames is returning the favor.

If I were a manager facing Garza I would be tempted in the 2nd inning to have everybody bunt straight at him. He probably wouldn't make it out of the inning.

Jose Bautista is being paid $18mil this year and has 9 hits total.

Eric Thames has a 3 year $16mil contract and has 9 homeruns total.

Every run will be unearned here because Arcia didn't help him, but no one should be fooled by the 1 ER by Garza to think he was anything but lousy as usual today.

How was the Arcia error? Easy play?

Hard hit ball, he stopped it, then lost it and couldn't find it in time. Not a routine grounder but a play he makes 95% of the time.

Even if it worked, letting Garza bat there was just dumb. He looked gassed at the end of the last inning and is just coming off of an injury.
