I'm still a bit annoyed that Perez didn't come in and make a play on that single that dropped in front of him and made it 3-0. I know it wasn't an easy play but with 2 out and a runner at 3rd that's a time to go for it. If he comes up with it it's our lead and the complexion of the game changes . Situational baseball.

I know it wasn't an easy play but with 2 out and a runner at 3rd that's a time to go for it. If he comes up with it it's our lead and the complexion of the game changes . Situational baseball.

 

Looked like a pretty easy catch to me and he played it as conservatively as you could.

Being here it looked like he didn't sprint right away at it. Still could have probably made a play on it, agreed.

If they figure Villar can play OF, I will be fine with moving on from Perez. Have Villar be super untiliy and sign Walker again. Perez is our worst bat not including Susac.
