Keep scoring boys. Keep scoring. [sarcasm]We'll pull Anderson and pitch him Sunday![/sarcasm]
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Since Robertson in 1917 there have only been 4 other Giants (NY or SF) to lead the league in HRs in back to back season, can you name them?

We have Bonds Cepeda Mays, McCovey and Ott.

The last player is part of a better question, he is one of 2 players to the league in HRs in back to back seasons for 2 different teams (meaning he led his league in HRs at least 4 times). Can you name them?

I've had enough of trying to play guys out of position. Out of Thames/Aguilar/Sogard/Villar, it's not like too many of them are so hot that we can't find space for everyone that's raking. Put OFs in the OF and play the hot bats between 1B and 2B

Edit: I'm very ok with Phillips playing OF

Among qualifiers, Thames is third in the NL in average # of pitches seen per PA (4.27).

I'm going to pull a topper09er and ask if you can name the top two.

(Domingo Santana is 13th in the NL at 4.11)

On a more serious note...I'll go with Votto and Rizzo

Cubs up 5-2 now. Just can't get any help from anybody who has played them lately. Just need to hang around until our 4 game series and then take care of them ourselves.

Chuckie Carr and Yuni? I agree Votto is a good guess. Maybe Goldschmidt?
