2018-04-30: Brewers (Chacín) at Reds (Finnegan) 6:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 6-5; historic night for Hader -- Save, 2.2 IP & 8 K!]

Miracles never cease!

Thank God reds bullpen is atrocious.

[adambr2]

No reason not to be throwing our best relievers at them now. They're plenty rested.

[wildcat83]

Santana you trickster you... Slapping weak ground balls around the infield till the opposing OF move in just enough...

[brewerswinNLcentral]

finally..domingo santana had a huge hit there..props to yelich and brawny for extending the inning, then the double steal...

i LOVE to watch this team against triple A competition

[brewerswinNLcentral]

and BTW, bring up dubon already

[trwi7]

Thank God reds bullpen is atrocious.

They should've gotten out of the inning with 0 runs.

Thank God reds bullpen is atrocious.

Half of it is, but the guys we got to have thrown pretty well this year.

[Cool Hand Lucroy]

Hader is filth.

[topper09er]

Hader threw 1 ball, not impressed

[wildcat83]

How long do we have Hader under control for?

[markedman5]

Hader just made Votto look like a little leaguer......and then punched out the next guy too just for fun.....lol

[MoreTrife]

and BTW, bring up dubon already

I don't expect much from him unfortunately. Zero walks. That's concerning.

2022 I think

[wildcat83]

Jesus can hit.

Brewers should send a scout to talk to the Reds ball boy.

[wallus]

Jesus can hit.

Can he hit a curve ball though?

2022 I think

Whatever year it is will be the last year we can afford him....

[PinaMadness]

Jesus can hit.

All right, let's not start a holy war.

ONE walk... Get your facts straight. The .322 Avg, .850 OPS, and 18 game hitting streak can't be worse than Arcia right now. Even for a few weeks till Arcia gets going. I still see Arcia as the SS going forward.

Cruising through the CS stats I see Broxton hasn't fixed the K problem... 31 already.

[topper09er]

Jesus can hit.

Can he hit a curve ball though?

Yes

[wallus]

Dubon's own manager said he isn't ready.

[wildcat83]

Thanks for the visual

Didn't say he's ready to stay, but if he's got a hot bat, he can't be worse for a week or two...

[Cool Hand Lucroy]

5 Ks for Hader. He is at 23 pitches and due up 4th. Tough call.
