We were bound to start losing a few against the crap teams, but pretty annoying when a team with 16 wins spots you 3 runs and you pooch it away with missed scoring opportunities, bad defense, and a bad LOOGY.

The only real defensive lapse I can't excuse is the easy throw that Shaw completely botched... Yelich got caught in between, Santana lost the ball, but Cain just kept going and it didn't cost us...

Logan will be a test for the new era of accountability that was started with Arcia and Bandy being sent out. No way you can continue to carry Logan if he is a one batter pitcher who cannot get that one batter out.

It would be nice if once and awhile we didn't have to have the bullpen come in during the 5th or 6th inning. Eventually, this bullpen will break and the last couple games it looks like it's happening.

It's making up for the first few innings where Anderson was getting hit hard but right at defenders.

First game all year the Brewers are going to lose when leading by 2 runs at any point.

 

Was bound to happen.....pretty remarkable(lucky) it hasn't happened until now.

True. Having a great bullpen is awesome and all. That said it seems like we are looking for about 75-80 pitches from our so called number one. Not good. Bullpen was toast last year by August. Same thing could happen this year if Counsell doesn't push the starters a bit.

None of the bullpen guys are being overworked. CC has spread it around and used the minor league guys when needed.

 

Unfortunately none of our starters other then Guera are pitching great and they have data that suggests 3rd time through the order is not effective for most starters.

Well this was a very disappointing game I don't mind saying. Getting schooled by the worst team in baseball. I am willing to forgive this debacle if they come back and take the next two in convincing fashion.
