That should be catchers interference in my mind. He is supposed to give a lane and he clearly did not.

I'm wondering if the ump determined that the throw took him into the runner's lane. Cain definitely seemed to question it.

EDIT: I think that was the case. There's almost no way the catcher could've caught that if he didn't move into Cain's path. It was pretty far up the line. It might have actually been better for the Brewers if it was a more accurate throw.

That should be catchers interference in my mind given the new rules. He is supposed to give a lane and he clearly did not. Cain was completely blocked from the plate and had no options at all.

I know, at the time Cain started his slide the catcher was sitting on the plate without the ball.

No wonder CC is so bad at challenges... He doesn't know when to do it... That was blocking the plate... Hope that 1 run doesn't come back to bite us...

I'm sure this is it but I still hate that rule. They are rewarding a bad throw. If his throw is on target he can't block the plate and Cain scores. The fact his throw is off target means the catcher is put in the lane and suddenly he is out? That is a piss poor rule.

Technically, blocking the plate. In a replay challenge, maybe 10% chance they overturn a call like that.

Is it Moose or is it Mouse? I really need to know. Guy's been a Brewer for less than a week and I see frequent use of both terms. Let's figure this out as a team.

Moose ... definitely Moose

Thank you.

It’s Moose, although his Twitter handle says Mooose.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

How about putting a baseline on the third base side of home plate and the Catcher can not enter the baseline until he has the ball, no matter where it is thrown... No ball, no baseline...

Aguilar with a close call there. Would have been really nice for him to have gotten that one to drop fair.
