Knebel was kind of rolling. I am not a huge fan of taking him out when he has it going, even if the matchup makes more sense. I'd leave Knebel in and start Josh out with a fresh inning (hoping, of course, Knebel can get the out.)

I think the goal is probably to keep him available tomorrow. At 25 pitches thrown he could probably come in for a couple outs tomorrow, you up that to 30+ and you can't use him.

Think this is the plan with every reliever named Knebel-Hader-Jeffress. Don't burn them with another game tomorrow.

This sets up nicely. Hader either pitches the entire 8th or at least through Gonzalez if the pitch count gets high. Jeffress finishes it off.

So, Yelich homered again. In other news, water is wet.

Brewers score 10 in the 7th and Guerra finishes it off.

Braun seemed upset at Yelich. Braun is really one to point fingers at bad base running in this game.

Heat of the moment stuff. Wants more runs.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Is the official scorer ever allowed to give the win to a starter that goes fewer than five innings? If (hopefully) the Brewers pull it out, I think he should definitely get consideration for the win. Though, from what I understand, the scorer can only pick the reliever they believe did the best job? Is that correct? Or can it ever be awarded to the starter that didn't go five?

They might have to consider changing the rules. We might just be seeing "wave of the future" type stuff tonight. Between the Brewers, and the Rays having success doing this in the regular season, it wouldn't surprise me to see more teams give it a shot next season.

Kinda disappointed this is Hernan and not Granderson.

Earlier double switch.

Pro ball player drops the head of the bat while bunting. Get with it Perez.
