Shaw has to be reaching some historically bad milestones pretty soon. What is the worst BA for a player with 200 or more PAs in a season?

Who’s gone first, Shaw or hook? Maybe we can switch their job titles and see if things get any worse?

I mean just put Perez in for Shaw already. It doesn’t take a hitting expert to see how poorly his hand-eye coordination is on his swings right now.

Edit: Thank you.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

If the brewers care about Shaw as a person they will throw in the towel. A guy can only take so much. Every corner man has to look out for his fighter.

Or maybe have a pitching coach whose last name isn't Hook. That's just bad mojo.

I agree completely!

I am more chagrined by the awful mis-management of Shaw than I am with Shaw himself.

He's trying, no doubt. He just doesn't have it, though. Management needs to realize this and stop furthering our chances of losing games because of him and exposing Shaw to further humiliation.

I don't think his wrist/hand is right, yet. What other explanation is there? It really doesn't matter what the reason is. The results have been speaking very loudly for way too long!

Terrible mismanagement here, truly. :rolleyes

I know that I read plenty of posts on DJ and comparing him to Hook. But what about Steve Karsay out in the pen? I know that he coached somewhere (Cleveland rings a bell) but I know I was not thrilled when he was hired and we haven’t exactly been fantastic in that regard. Plus, he works with the starters, too, I would think.

Grant Balfour have any interest in getting into coaching?

Or Homer Bailey?

This umpire doesn't call anything a strike if it's low or high (even if it's in the strike zone) but he calls pretty much every outside or inside even if it's a few inches off the plate.
